Canon EOS7D £1249 (£50 off)

Add £50 accessories and use code SPRING50 for £50 off (making the accesories free)

1249 - 50 =1199 net after accessories value taken into account

Less Quidco/Top Cashback @ 4% £42.52

Camera Body net value £1157

Additionally, get a Tamron 70-300 £119 (£50 off)

Not a lens I'd buy with this, but a good starter tele zoom for someone.

The body deal is a good price for a UK sourced 7D - best I've seen elsewhere UK sourced, Canon warranty is £1199 Body only, no cb or accessories.

Undecided on this one...

If you didn't want the accessories this is £1209.31 including Quidco from Warehouse Express.

Simply Electronics list this for £1079.95 delivered but as I've never heard of them before I'd be wary and seek some customer advice/reviews.

Why wouldn't you want 50 quid of free accessories? It's cheaper than Warehouse Express, and you get 50 of accessories...
#3
Simply Electronics are Grey Market, and Canon do not provide warranty coverage on Camera bodies worldwide, only lenses, so grey market on an item like this is iffy.
#4
If you are going to post negatives, at least post a better deal...

Simes123, chill man.

I said I was undecided meaning I didn't vote Hot or Cold...

Just expressing an opinion.

Thanks for the heads up on Simply Electronics, as mentioned never dealt with them before. Shame as they do have a good price on the 5D Mk2.

Terminus - We just posted at the same time - I wasn't commenting on your post :) I'm just puzzled at the people voting this negative - I looked long and hard, and this was the best value option by far. My net cost is 1157 for the body - I couldn't get anywhere close to that from a legitimate UK source.

that final price makes this a hot deal, and voted accordingly
with the price showing at near what other sellers have priced this at, and I don't quite follow the OP original description (but then I am very tired..) I do kind understand people being unsure.

However - expensive DSLRs tend to get cold votes - even if the prices are good.

No worries, don't know your address anyway ;)

On the accessories front would possibly suggest a spare battery though Jessops price on the LP-E6 is a bit expensive at £75 (around £65 elsewhere or £25 for a third party version).

terminus - I went for a Manfrotto ball head at 55 - 496RC2 - net cost 5 to me and I needed it anyway - seemed reasonable. I agree the battery is a bit spendy!

Another grey market retailer. Read the reviews:

Worth losing a genuine Canon UK warranty for an import from a company like that for the sake of 7 quid on a 1200 camera... I wouldn't.
