Canon EOS Speedlite 270EX II Flash Unit for £99.99 (£74.99 after cashback) @Amazon (Global bargains - fulfilled by amazon) + More speedlite offers!

jamesjamesjamesjamesjamesjamesjamesjamesjamesjames

Whilst looking for speedlites I noticed the price had dropped alot for the 270ex II, then I noticed canon offer £25 cashback on this lens and it is fulfilled by Amazon! What more could you want!
Amazon still sell this for £127.99! And the mark 1 of this speedlite goes for more than £74.99 new !

Also cashback on the 320ex II and the 430EX II, only £25 cashback for each flash but still seals the deal for me rather than purchasing it off ebay, just have to decide which 1 now!

Links to products and canon cashback page in first post :-).
Cheers

270EX II - £99.99 (£74.99 after cashback) - Global bargains uk / fulfilled by amazon.
320EX II - £145 (£120 after cashback) - Global bargains uk / fulfilled by amazon
    430EX II - £203.10 (£178.10 after cashback) - Amazon

These are all great prices, it's a shame the amount of cashback doesn't increase with price as it does with lenses but even still makes these lenses cheaper than anywhere else!

The 430EX II prices go up and down loads but good condition ones still go for £175 ish on ebay so to get it new for this price is very good!

I have read the Canon cashback terms and condition where it stated that only flash that is supplied by Canon UK will be valid for the cashback. (Which I checked with the cheapest 2 on eBay and they are imported goods from US)

Therefore I don't know whether to buy from Global Bargin or not :(

"fulfilled by Amazon" is the key here! (_;)

OP, have some heat. I wish I could give you some extra for the nice presentation.

"fulfilled by Amazon" means that seller has the stock and then they send it to Amazon for store them (and dispatch them as well)
It can still be imported goods from US or Asia countries :(

I've never had a problem with Cashback, providing your receipt is from a UK seller. I've had cashback from goods bought from fleabay sellers based in japan as well, just by sending my receipt in.

Cheers for the link! Definitely just made up my mind watching that, 430ex II it is! It's a nice idea with the 320ex but just doesn't seem worth it with a 'wimpy' light lol.

MASSIVE difference to the built in, particularly for portrait work. If nothing else, try bouncing off the ceiling to see the difference.

Why bother with a nasty clone flash which may overheat, when you can buy the Canon for £75?

As a cheaper alternative for those looking for a flash, consider the Yongnuo YN565EX. It's pretty much the same spec as the Canon 580exII, looks the same, same button layout and back screen, but whereas the canon is approx £375, the Yongnuo is only £104 delivered from uk. I've had mine for about 2 months now and it really is as good as the canon. Only thing it lacks is high-speed sync and control of other flash units. Google some reviews for it, it really is amazing for the price.

Check out the N565EX on YouTube where there are more complaints about failure than there are positive reviews. Somewhere I found an article that suggested a batch sold on Amazon recently were fitted with poor quality PCBs or capacitors that led to swift failure and that Yongnuo recognise this and have just this month upgraded it. Whether you will get an old version of the upgraded one if buying by mail order today will depend on the stock levels currently held by the supplier.
In short, if you're going for this third party product, get it from a reputable source in the UK who will refund if it fails within 12 months.

Anyone looking at this - seeing it as expired - the 430exII is still £203 - the others have now gone up in price.
The 430exII also looks like it's genuine UK Amazon stock.

Be aware though that this isn't as unusual a deal as the others - on the cashback makes it better - it's previously been around £170.
