I've had a play with these cameras, they are tiny but have great features. I have waited ages for play to get them in stock, and now they have!
Cheapest I can find anywhere.

I ordered one. plus an 8GB SDHC card which was 14.99 inc delivery.

Seen some pretty good reviews.

All of the Canon camcorders get great reviews & are always in the top 10 buying choices. The RRP of this is £249 so not really saving a great amount but it is a new edtion to the Canon range.

See reviews hear: http://www.digitalcamera-hq.com/camcorders/

I'm also looking for a camcorder for my wedding but have decided on the Canon HF100 which is basically the same as this one but records in High Definition (approx £550).

The problem with ditigal camcorders has always been that the quality of the recording has never been as good as recording to mini dv tapes. With the latest range of high definition camcorders, the quality is 'reported' to be excellent & in some cases on par with mini dv. There is a downside to HD camcorders & that's the large amount of processing power required on your PC to edit the films.

It all depends on your budget, this is good value & I'm sure you would be happy with the results. As the price of standard definition camcorders is being driven down by the high defintion cameras/TV's/Bluray I'm going to wait as long as possible before buying the HF100.

Hope this helps

Never in the history of retailing has an R.R.P ever meant anything. In fact, R.R.P's are almost always grossly inflated. It actually makes a change to see an R.R.P which actually looks quite genuine.

The price of this camera varies, from as low as plays £229.99 to as high as Pixmania's £289.99 (+ del).

This is a great deal for this price.
