Good find, I'd rather go for this deal with the case and card and store pickeip than the Best Buy deal with the delivery risk and quidco. This softens the blow of missing the M&S deal, hot :)

Also meant to say, I found one in Worthing, but there was also stock (mainly only "1 left") in Horsham, Lewes, Chichester and Crawley, for any south-easterners here.

Nice find thanks.

Thankyou just reserved last pink one in my area xxx

Does anyone know if this is better or same as the Panasonic FS30? x

This is a really nice, good quality camera. The image stabiliser makes taking pictures so much easier. Has gerat battery life too. I bought this set for £159.99 about a month ago but I wanted it to go on holiday so not too upset about the huge price drop.

Great find :-)

Does this have a function to edit photos on the camera?

Great spot, purchased this at Argos today after leaving John Lewis in a shopping rage last week trying to buy the same item. Their customer service is appalling these days!

reserved , video records in 720p HD , lovely !!!

Bought the cam and the case seperately a month ago... Good deal.

Im unsure now ive bought it, ive just recorded a movie, and its absolutely poo! Its blurry as out!!! Also i recently had the FS30 to test, and when i uploaded pics they were 4.40MB and ive just uploaded one from this and there only 2.30MB why could this be?

Can i also just check when your viewing anything in front of you when the camera is ready to take a pic, is it meant to be really really blurry?

It just means the Canon is compressing them more or on a different setting, are you half pressing the shutter to focus before you take a pic ?
[helper]#16
Ive just tried again, and kept finger fully down no half pressing, but it automatically waits for the green square to appear then takes the picture x

yeh the problem with Canon is it doesn't focus while the video is recording. So if its not focused properly when the recording starts then the whole thing is blurry. Thought they would have fixed this now its on v3 of the 1xx range but obviously not. Btw you can get 12MP refurbs of this form factor on ebay for only £70 if you don't care about only 2 extra MPs.

Bought this camera for £86. Perfect quality pictures, almost like an SLR! Love when the background is slightly less out of focus than the main subject!

Have no problems shooting in video too. I prefer to have the camera on 'P' instead of auto as I can choose how I shoot. Having fun playing with the colour swap feature and fish eye!

It does take slightly long to focus sometimes, but you can change this depending on what feature you are on. I found putting it on the 'Kids and pets' feature made the picture take almost instantly and with perfect results.. even when not taking pictures of kids or pets :P

Why is my video poo then? Its really blurry! x

Its not just an extra 2mp !

Its a wide angle lens, extra zoom, larger screen, free case and memory card, its also a grey import and only 90day warranty, and probably have to sent it back to USA if it breaks as seller based in USA

Quite a but different :)

Try letting it focus before you press record, can you upload a clip

Is the lens dirty or got a smudge on it?

May be faulty :(

Heres a clip off you tube with same camera

Try messing around with the video settings? Make sure that it is on HD movie and not a lower quality version. Change some of the scene settings/AWB settings around too, like there are some settings on video for lower lighting, or to shot in day light and things like that. It might help?

Just uploading to youtube then will post you the link x

It is on HD the highest setting there is, and according to reveiws they basically recorded from the get go without altering any settings, just making sure it was on HD, and it worked fine.

If you click the center button it should let you change the setting of your video. It has let me. I just shot a colour swap video, changing everything to black and white except anything red in the room that was changed to blue :D

Hard to tell just from looking at your wall/babymonitor but looks ok - the reason the quality is bad right now is because of the low lighting conditions.. turn on some lights or try it tomorrow outdoors in day light and you should see significant improvement. :)
#33
Yes try outdoors in daylight , most cameras struggle with low light , and you are just pointing it at a blank wall does not help

Can anyone confirm that this comes with a 'leather' case, as it doesn't state that it does on the argos website. Thanks.
