working now at 12.40. top notch, hot for me. Sold my samsung on ebay recently for £150. cheers.
#8
Its working now (1pm) but they will only give me that price if I set up a credit account with them rather than paying by card in full today. Not keen on that so gave it a miss, but heat added for the find.

Yes to both questions.

Many thanks for that, that's a weight off my decision making brain-cell. :-D

Don't suppose that you happen to know where Canon have hidden a downloadable manual for this please? Have tried to find it but with no success, hence the silly questions. ;-)

You can download a PDF manual here. It says MD120 in the file name but it covers the MD110 as well as you will see on the front of the manual. It doesn't ask for a serial no as it states, just click to download it

Now that I have the manual, I have found the bit on how to connect the camera to a computer but that connection only seems to be for transferring a recording. :-(

More Help Please - how do I use it as a web-cam? :?

My order seemed to go through fine but now it has come up with credit rejected (even though I know my card is good).
Anyone else had problems like this with additions direct?
#24
I bought one around a year ago paid i think around 130 not sure though from Jessops. I've used it several times holiday etc and can say this is a very good camera for the money ,you cant go wrong for the price . Its got all the main features, good built quality and from a top quality brand Cannon.

I'm beginning to hate HUKD, and contemplating never to visit the site again because I keep seeing these deals that are things I don't need but want simply because they are an excellent deal :x! Damn you HUKD! Heat added as fab deal! I would have bought this immediately, but waiting for those hard drive camcorders.
#26
Anyone managed to find a review? I've had a look but can't find any...
#27
seems like a good deal, voted hot

To use this as a webcam I think you have to use a firewire cable to the PC. The display on the screen would be in real time.

Also To do say 'stop motion' photography, using a mac and istop motion software this would be OK, effectively using the camera as a webcam.

Code is for new customers only. If you are a new customer try ringing it through instead. People on other posts, where the code has been used, have done this if they couldn't get it to work online. From what I gather reading other members posts the code isn't due to expire yet but they can pull it at any time so you never know.

does anyone know , Say I have account with adirect and have £1,000 credit limit (they charge something like 37.9% apr) If i was to order this and say use $84 from account(credit) Can I pay it off before 28 days so as i do not get charged interest. I cannot find this out in my account (anyone know for sure as in they have bought using credit then paid it off in say a week or even a few days)
#33
Same here! Couldnt resist sach a good deal!!!
Just ordered one! Thank you!

not the most reliable but arguably best quality pre-hd formats, better than dvd, discs...think the pannys and sonys are better but its quite compact and good value...similar issues as video recorders tbh - tape transport failures/tape getting caught in transport, etc...good for £54.50 tho

i have a sony hard disk camcorder - one of the better ones...would i buy another....maybe
stop recording for no reason the other day - temp issue but not good after minor use over the past year. A little concerned as harddisks arent very reliable these days....tho mine is a 40gb rather than the unreliable multiplatter harddisks (usually >250gb). I would say that mini dv has the edge over picture quality. Generally harddisk ones have a much quicker start up from power on

only "3" degree from me. Does it depend on how many posts I have posted? Looks like we have got the same number of posts so far...but I got less heat...:-(

cannot get any code to work other than free delivery to bring total to £82.70
