Not cheapest... were selling for £20 last yeah.

It'll cost you more than that for a set of replacement cartridges. Which is probably why the printer is so cheap.

The inks are actually reasonably priced (£10 for black and £15 for colour) and last quite long, I bought this printer for £50 4 months ago, so know how good a deal it is!!! :x

Based on the number of prints you get this works out at less than 8p a page when printing black and white and 15p a page when printing in colour!!

You can also buy compatible inks for between £3.50 and £5 to make it even cheaper

Not sure what you think is reasonable, but this certainly is to me!!

around 8p for black and white and 15p in colour and you consider it cheap

not voting cold but certainly not a good deal really

Bought two of these printer last year for £20 each.

Got rid of them when the ink ran out due to the cartridges costing a fortune ( £10 - £15)

I'd expect to print a page for less than a penny, though I've never costed it, just bought compatibles all the time for my Epson, and paid little over the years weve had it. I never dreamed of printing and it costing so much!

ok, the canon printer deal is alright, there is still inflation. heat added

Lol! You're kidding aren't you? I picked my MP190 up earlier in the year after my HP spat out yet another half-full colour cartridge - the MP190 was cheaper (with cash back) than the £21 HP replacement (so for me having had bad experiences with Epson and HP recently £10-15 a cartidge is quite cheap).

P.S. I haven't voted either way - I think it's a great little printer especially bearing in mind the price but it has been cheaper recently. The scanner is just OK but print quality is superb - I was surprised at how good it was for photo printing. I know these have a reputation for paper misalignment but mine's been fine so far. As I said above much better than my previous Epson and HP models and much cheaper all round.

Last "yeah"?

Good printer. I got my Dad one. As long as you only print occasionally, I don't think the cost of ink is an issue.
