a very nice little printer

I am thinking of getting this what do u guys think?

Get the printer, it's an absolute bargain at this price and it's got some amazing features. I had one, until I gave it to my friend when he was moving out - and I miss it... sad, I know, but it's true.

It comes with two full cartridges of ink, and they last for a fair amount of time. Simply put, this deal is very hot, at least in my opinion. This printer is easily worth £50, the quality is very good.

Oh, and don't forget you need a USB cable as it doesn't come with one :)

Shame a set of new carts costs more than the printer though. Does not look like compatables are available for it like most new cannons. I love canon printers, my mp360 has been great and ink is so cheap but it is coming to the end of it's life now and a backup would be nice at this price.

i have this - it's awful!
#12
is there still a canon printer cashback offer on?

some heat and rep for this price!
#13
seems a great price to me!
#14
so £20 for the cheapest set of inks?

Looks that way yes. Considering I get 10 colour and 10 black for £14.80 delivered and my lad goes through it like its water, 20 quid a set is way too much for me to consider getting any printer that compatables are not avilable for it.

You'll be paying that sort of money for Ink Cartridges with any printer, low cost printer = Expensive cartridges, voted hot tempted as well!

Low cost or high cost printer makes no difference, all carts are way too overpriced. Ink is cheap they just like to rip us off.

Good spot, one ordered, heat added!

anyone use those refill kits? i use them on an mp210 i think is the model. works fine. refilled a few times now and the quality is still there. a pain drilling the holes the first time but a breeze after that! works out dirt cheap then. eventually you need a new cartridge because it'l get a bit mucky but you should get quite a few refills out of them! on my HP printer the colour got refilled about 6 times before we changed it so saved a bucket. obviously if you want high quality prints you probably just want the real cartridges but i print loads of worksheets n all for school and the kids arent gonna notice!!
#20
if you buy 3 you get free shipping - worth it just for the genuine cartridges

runs out quickly with normal use - honestly, it's poor, hence it being in the argos sale, now this.

taking paper is a nightmare!!!

Excellent Buy Wife bought me one from Amazon at £89 18 months ago very pleased with it. ink lasts quite some time if you ignore ink low warnings:thumbsup:
#23
Does it come with a ink cartiage?
My dell 810's ink has run out, I am thinking whether it is worth to just get ride of 810 and get this one

There were 522 when I looked last night in stock, now 469 so you still have time to make your mind up. This is cheaper than new inks for my Brother DCP-115C. Have been looking in to refill kits,so might just try them rather than buy another printer that will be landfill in less than a year!

Thats crazy, but true

what would you do with the 2 spare printers? and keep in mind that the bundled cartridges may be half-filled

Shame Play had the high yield carts on offer last month. Back upto over £20 now!!!!

I think the quality is very good with this printer, providing you use reasonably good quality paper. I used cheap paper originally (which my old HP printer had no probs with) and found the ink would bleed into the paper. This is because these new photo printers pour out so much ink it needs absorbing paper.

this or dell 810?

The Canon is better than the Dell 810 by a country mile. I've had both and currently own the Canon as a spare and it is excellent.

My canon MP460 came bundled with full-size cartridges, the PG40 and CL41. At this price for the printer, it's actually a cheaper way of buying the cartridges; the last time I bought these from Play it was just under £25 for the two. Indeed, crazy but true!

Ordered 3 for 59.97, great offer!
#38
Thanks, ordered one :).

Got this couple of months back from Argos for £25.00! Should say its been amazing so far, I still have inks remaining in printer and scan quality is awesome! Would recommend for anyone who is going for cheap all-in-one!

Cheers! ;-)
