For those worried about inks, and who don't mind using non-Canon originals, see this page @ ink.co.uk:
MP600 ink cartridges @ ink.co.uk
The MP600 and the MP610 Definitely take the same ink cartridges.

A full set will cost £1.95, and will offer better print quality and volume than any of the other printers that have been offered on here in the last few months.

For those who wish to stick to Canon-originals, and good on you, the cheapest I've managed to find is here:
Canon inks @ 7dayshop
Document black (5bk): £8.49
Photo cartridges x 4 (8 series): £6.79 each

Yeah, I spotted that one too, shame they don't price match eBuyer as well, as it would make it about £96.

I suppose the advantage of buying it from PCWorld is that you don't have to wait for delivery, you get it there and then. Also, if you receive a faulty unit, it's just a drive back to the store to rectify, as opposed to dealing with RMA's and the delivery costs this incurs. Although you shouldn't get a faulty unit to be honest, as these Canon's tend to be pretty reliable.

The reviews for this printer are outstanding. I am not in line for a new printer, My Epson R200 has been working fine since Jan 2005 on compatible cartridges. But I think I am going to get one of these as a backup.

But I am tempted to buy from Amazon just for the 30 day refund the difference promise (if they lower the price). As its only just short of £6 more @ Amazon.

Believe me, if you get one of these, and after you see the print quality/speed, your R200 will be redundant ;-)

Was given one of these for Christmas and it's been fantastic in all respects. Best printer I've owned by far. I don't see how you can go too wrong for the price.

Excellent printer, I didn't know that Canon still made some with cheap cartridges. If only I had the cash I think I'd snap this up.

The only thing is with the compatable cheap ink cartridges you have to remove the chip off your original ink cartridges & the ink levels don't show :(

Amazon have dropped these to £100.90 so with PC World's price promise you should be able to pick one up for £95 ;-)

Just to update this deal. Seems amazon wont have stock for 1 to 2 months...But Dixons have it for £100.33 and pcworld are £129.99
Will pc world price match dixons, who are basically part f the same group?

Edit..
To answer my own question they wont price match dixons even though they are part of the same group!
