I've had one of these for about a year and it produces excellent quality prints and scans. The automatic document feeder is a great feature at this price. Only thing to be mindful of is the cost of the ink cartridges, even the non-oem ones are expensive and it's not separate colour cartridges. If you are a heavy user then you may be better to pay more and get one that takes much cheaper separate cartridges. If you don't print that much, then I have found this an excellent all in one.

It's been this price for a while but it's a good price for a printer with an auto document feeder. It's a discontinued model and is also available at some stores at the same price. Note that you can't use photos in the ADF unfortunately, according to the manual anyway (which is a shame as I was looking for something which could auto-scan my old photos).

Bryn - have you ever tried scanning photos using the auto document feeder?

Not sure how much the inks are for this, but I got the Epson from Amazon for an extra tenner the other day but that has Wi-Fi on top too.

Inks are £2.50 a tank (non-oem) and seperate colours....

No I haven't. Don't see why it would have a problem though (maybe keeping it aligned will be an issue). If I get chance I will try it tonight and let you know if it works.

Thanks I'd really appreciate that. I think the issue may be to do with the thickness of photo paper, and maybe it not pulling through because the photo isn't big enough to stay in contact with the rollers (but I'm sure it would be easy enough to pull it through if it stops). Please use an unwanted photo though, just incase!
Edit: If it works with one and you could try it with a stack of 3/4 to check that the feeder can pull them in from a pile that would be even better :)

Just under £10 more expensive, but inks are cheap and work fine.
