Thanks Ray -

Free delivery on this at Amazon, however the item price is actually cheaper at Ebuyer (http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/96602) at £26.68 with delivery at £4.99 extra.

If you're buying other items from eBuyer will probably work out better - also 1.5% Quidco too.

canon printers use the cheapest (non original) ink replacements, very important consideration, don't pay for rip off ink!

Excellent price for a printer and as effing & jeffing Canons are soo cheap for compatible ink cartridges! :)

Where do you get this cheap ink from? On ebay it doesn't seem cheap at all (when you type in "ip1600").

Good price for Canon !

I too cannot see any online retailers that offer the usual £4ish compatible cartridges, only originals at £14-20

Hope someone can find them cheapo cartridges!! :)

Yep me to, had mine 6 months, can't see to find any compatible cartridges. Any ideas anyone................

It looks like there is no cheap compatibles for latest Canon printers, apart from 6xxx series. :( My local Staples (yes, I am big fan of Staples! :)) got ip2200 for 35 quid. I was thinking about buying one, but then I looked at cartridge prices and decided against. My money goes to Epson now.
