shame refills are so spensive

£25 in ASDA Trowbridge - dozens of them - but beware price of refills. I could not see any reasonable price refills. Plenty of fill your own kits, but not refills.

Is that definitely the All-in-one and not one of the Canon printers that looks pretty similar?

Does anyone know if this comes with the cartridges? It doesn't specifically say that it does..

Edit: Nevermind, found my answer.
On the Canon MP 190 Printer starter Pack:
Includes Printer, Extra Ink, Paper and USB Cable
So that must mean ink is included...

as i stated in the topic u get a full tank of ink, unlike other brands e.g. epson where they give u test cartidges. however the cartridges are a tad expensive.

Would these work on this printer?

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/127743/show_product_specifications?spectype=extended

If so, they're not as heavily price as HP ones.

EDIT:

You mean All-in-one? You get a printer along with a scanner and photocopier all-in-one.

the same old thing is wrong with these printers the refills are too expensive hence why there cheap, the new thermal printers are out this year they will be loads cheaper and see these types left as relics, dont buy any printer untill u price a descent refill and not some mickey mouse product from the cheap shops or the printer will suffer.....

the cl-38 cartridge is whats supplied with the printer so yes they will work, the higher yield cl-41 also works too.

Looks like you can currently pick up a generic bundle of 6 x black and 1 x colour cartridges for around the £20 mark from a certain well known auction site.

Asda are doing the IP1900 not the MP190
#18
these come with proper size cartrdges but i bought the high capacity ones off the net for around £11 each for genuine canon ones, amazon were doing the black cartridges (canon) for £7
#19
On the cashback reciept there's a box you have to tick for enclosing the original receipt. Will ebuyer give one or will you have to give your invoice?
#20
I'm going to get the Epson Stylus SX205 off of our favorite auction site.. cheap ink cartridges (non-official) are available very cheaply everywhere, and they work fine...
#21
How does this printer compare to the MP210, as that was the one I was looking at getting for myself.
#22
It look like the starter pack is priced seperately at £75 so it looks like you don't get the ink MP190 on its own.

can u show us the link where u bought the genuine cartridges for £11

black ink now costs £9.23 for pg-37 http://www.amazon.co.uk/CANON-PG-37-BLK-CART-2145B001/dp/B000NXU75W/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1236729853&sr=8-3

I don't know why this is expired - the ebuyer cashback offer doesn't run out until the 31st!

I bought one Friday - I had few other things to buy so postage was free - meaning £19.99 for a brand new printer wth ink. The best thing being I get to throw away my piece of p** HP printer for about the same price as relacing (yet again!) the failed colour cartridge :)

Thanks for posting the deal - I'd give you some rep but I'm told "please spread some reputation around before giving it to computerman again"

I must like the deals you post :p
