Cheapest price listed on 3Camels for Amazon is £275 on 27th Dec 2015.

Cheapest current price elsewhere is: £375 at Jessops with free LaCie Mini 1TB Hard Drive & Permajet Paper (according to Jessops worth a total of £142.98).
Or Amazon £361.96.

This is a dye printer (rather than pigment like the pro 10s and pro 1).

A full genuine set of 8 cartridges is currently £78.17 on Amazon.

Canon lists the following as estimated number of pages per ink cart for printing full size A3+:
Black: 62 photos
Grey: 66 photos
Light Grey: 142 photos
Cyan: 53 photos
Magenta: 49 photos
Yellow: 52 photos
Photo Cyan: 59 photos
Photo Magenta: 38 photos

Keep in mind this is a big heavy printer. Dimensions are 689 x 385 x 215 mm
Weight 19.7 kg.

I got one and was amazed at the clarity and detail on professional paper
It will print about 30 to 35 full colour and about 45-50 B&W A3+ at max resolution but beware the replacements are not cheap and once one colour runs low it won't print at all

I've been looking out for this to go on sale for over a year. This is the cheapest I've ever seen it new by over £50, pre-brexit. Usually retails for around £330-350 now. Bought instantly.

Was so close to pulling the trigger on the Canon ip8750. Then I see this! The same price! I am sure I will regret it when I see the size and the cost of replacement inks but couldn't pass it up!

I've seen various things saying these aren't good for the Canon printers.

Apparently these refill kits work well, though obviously take more effort and time http://www.precisioncolors.com/PC42cref.html Equates to £125 for most expensive kit, add £14 for shipping, Royal Mail £8 fee, £25 for import VAT, would probably come to just under £180 and give roughly 8 refills. The same amount of genuine ink carts would cost £652.36.

Good deal though, £450 for the 10s as well which is the one I would prefer if I could afford

My order has just been cancelled. Apparently it was an ex display one that was "sold over the weekend". Pretty sure nowhere on their site did it state it was ex display.

I had a call this morning saying exactly the same thing. There was no "ex display" information at all, nor was there any indication that there was only one in stock. Annoying.
