thats ok, just bought it so though i had bought a lemon .lol
Lol, yes the price is actually pretty cheap in comparison to other websites.
Dodgy build quality according to the amazon reviews, some bad comments about the LCD screen too.
Dodgy build quality according to the amazon reviews, some bad comments about the LCD screen too.

I think you're exaggerating those issues a little:

1 reviewer complained about build quality - and another responded to say they didn't agree...

I don't know about comments on the LCD screen - several folks complained their pictures didn't look as good on screen or on computer as their old model (possibly they zoom too far into their images - my panny FZ38 has the same issue you can zoom on the LCD enough to see the 'noise' and even past a 1:1 pixel representation so it looks really bad...). A few folks said the LCD was great even in sunlight while others seemed to disagree...

According to one reviewer they bought theirs for £50 before Christmas in a Black Friday deal...

i dont think a couple of reviews complaining about the screen being fuzzy (its a tiny camera screen not an LED tv) constitute "dodgy built quality" i thought for a second the camera was falling apart at the seams

all shall be revealed when i try it.
