Saw this in store at Currys at two stores, and seems to be available online too! Can't find any reviews (oddly) but if it's half decent I'm having one. Seems to be cheapest I can find.

better than the ixus 95?
I went looking for the Ixus 95 and couldn't find it at any local stores... they said they were down to ones all over the country, and that they'll be display models, and suggested this as an alternative. Since I can't find a half decent review I'm reluctant to say how it compares in reality!
Ixus 95 is £99 in Argos and on Amazon also
looked at review of 3100 and theres not much in them - slightly bigger and 4x zoom

Looks like the Ixus 95 is only that price online - I did check it in store and it was £169 :( I was offered a "used" Ixus 95 for the same price as a boxed unit at Currys. In all fairness they knocked a tenner off when I mentioned that, but it was scratched on the screen and the USB cable was missing.

Back to the drawing board!
Now £69 at Currys, PC World etc (+ ~3% TCB)
