Hmm. 2.5" LCD screen is a BIG put off for me. I like 3" at least (ooeerr....)

Wedge shaped as well for reasons I can't imagine...

decent camera, just bought two with the argos online offer (£46 quid it was). it came with 2gb sd card as well.
for its price, nice camera.
if you are looking for large lcd, look at canon ixus 210, it has an impressive touch screen 3.5" size. at £199 though...

Most camera makers are now doing a sub £50 10 Mp version except panasonic lumix. Once you remove the battery they weigh almost nothing ....that's how cheap they are. More than likely to go wrong after years gurantee expires so chuk 'em away & buy another every couple of years. Why?

that also takes the CHDK enhanced firmware. Which was awesome on my S5IS.

I got one few days ago. My first digital camera but boy does it take great pics! Really impressed, very easy to use, light although does feel a bit cheap.

This camera got a very good review last year here http://www.photographyblog.com/reviews/canon_powershot_a480_review/conclusion/ This is a simple camera producing good results. Things move very quickly for the digital camera market and new models appear all the time. This one offers good value for the price.

Had this for a very long time and you can take some very good pictures with it.
It's excellent in super macro with a tripod. With tweaked exposure timings you can get some really nice effects at night. In manual mode for the money this camera is an excellent buy.

Also the blue rechargeable batteries from lidl, or it might be aldi, which are near the tills last a lot longer than normal throw away and some other rechargeable batteries that you could use in this camera ;)

I love mine - which i bought at 59.99 from argos this seems a good deal. Easy to use and good stills shots

anybody know a resonably priced digital camera that has 10MP+ and takes good photos, but importantly also takes 720p HD movies?

also is it better to have rechargeable Li-on batteries or AA batteries?

thanks.

I'll wait for the Lumix TZ7 to come down to a more reasonable price !

Yes, £150 would be good. In a selection of colours (the green is nice)

This is hot !! CHDK is available for this as well which converts this to a super digicam !!

Any decent cameras for point and shoot for the same price that has rechargeable battery ?

Was just about to order this when I noticed the AA`s.

Can any owners confirm what size memory card came with your camera ?

mine came with 32mb (?) was expecting 2gb

32mb is pretty useless for a camera

I am a big fan of the Lumix series - but that really is a different class. There is a reason you can't get a Lumix for 50 quid - not even on clearance.
