Does anyone know if these are good quality for the price?

The camera itself should be fairly decent quality, but AFAIK it's the running costs of the printer which are quite probhibitive - only supplied with enough ink for about 5 prints - even new carts will only print up to 36 shots, I read...

Yeah was looking more towards the printer but with the added bonus of getting a camera with it. Was gonna give the camera to my gf but it seems that this was already well over priced then.

I think im gonna give it a miss, thanks for your help :)

I bought the Canon A560 package a year or so ago. I still have not got around to using the printer. What is the point when you can have them developed for 5p each? The cameras are first class in my opinion. They have terrific lenses and the colours are so much better than any other budget camera I have come across.

I'm the same as OP - I bought for £85 at Xmas. Really pleased with it as the printer on its own best price was £65 online as the camera is a nice simple piece of kit if you just want it for pics of the kids etc. The ink isnt cheap but packs of 3 (that do 108 prints) are about £25. Ink on Amazon
Its just easier and more instant for me than taking them to Boots etc...We can give photos out to the relatives straight away and they love that!!!
