The point of the above information, since HUKD is now allowing ebay daily deals, I think information on the reseller can never be enough. So any items bought from Clearance Bargains may not fall under Argos policies due to different trading name, they are the same company that have run for years and still subject to standard rule of law we expect either here or instore.

Shame I don't want this Canon or I'd be tempted :)

I bought the G9 a few years ago when it first came out and it's still the best camera I have ever owned.

...oops....at that price you couldn't hold me back...numbers back up to 180+ now...wonder how many bought because the numbers started to fall and it looked if stock was running out:roll:

Hot, don't forget quidco.

Bought one recently, G10 is a great camera - a little on the heavy side but fantastic image quality for a non DSLR if you shoot RAW.

hot at this price as long as your getting a 1 year Canon guarantee then should be OK.

Why would you buy 5?

Over-valued compact camera, IMO.

I suspect that people would buy quantities to sell on, as this is priced much higher at a shop near me.

I would say that the G10 is a good compact at this price, although it suffered a bit because the sensor was too high megapixel at 14, causing some image problems particularly at high ISO.

Canon have since learned their lesson with the successor, the G11 - it has dropped back to 10MP and is good again!

bought a g11 off ebay a few months ago great camera for £300 especially low light performace compared to the g10. by the way bought new:thumbsup:

This is an awesome camera. Takes amazing photos on auto, i got an underwater housing for it and took it diving, takes great underwater shots and HD (720p) video.
#15
amazing deal! I bought the SX200 is for 189 + quidco... wish i waited :-(
#16
Use Canon's own Digital Photo Professional (DPP) supplied software to convert Raws for best results.

Is this better than the Panasonic Lumix LX3?

#19
Anyone recommend any decent cases and user guides?
#20
If you know anyone going to the States, the G11 is £270 with two year international warranty.

I bought one of these for mine, although paid £5.46 including delivery from Hong Kong.

Its made for and only fits the G10 and is good value compared to the same item from Canon. It screws into the base of the camera like one of those old fashioned 35mm film camera cases.

With this, you don't scratch the camera taking it in and out of a pouch. To shoot you have to remove the front/top of the case which is held in place with 3 studs, you then have access to the viewfinder and screen.
