I think they've taken into account that you can claim £30 cashback from Canon.

Price in the title should be £182.70, as that's the price you have to pay and then mention the subsequent £30 you can claim back from Canon. Already been posted at least twice in the last few days anyway (though admittedly for a few pounds more):

How does this compare to the Lumix TZ10?

Take a look here:

http://www.cameralabs.com/reviews/Canon_PowerShot_SX210_IS/verdict.shtml

....and here:

http://snapsort.com/compare/Canon_PowerShot_SX210_IS-vs-Panasonic_Lumix_DMC-TZ10

Both seem to give the TZ10 a slight edge, but its pretty close.

Thanks for that, found another comparison too & it had the same conclusion that the TZ10 was slightly better. I'll keep my order with Best Buy for the TZ10 then.

Thinking of getting this but I have hardly used my Sony DSC-H20 I bought earlier this year. Is this gonna be much better (apart from the bigger resolution and zoom)?
#10
I'll buy this when it's closer to £100 !
Like Splinters above, I have a very good Sony (a W290) as is, and don't need this
BUT next year if it's around the £100 mark I may not be able to resist !X)

i bought this last week(buyacamera), it was 199 on Amazon then dropped to 191 compared to 188 with 7 quid del on buyacamera.com but as you get a 2 year warranty with buyacamera for a few quid more it seemed the better deal, this week Amazon goes down again ! suppose you have to buy sometime tho.I have only had a brief play but it seems good even the little pop up flash seems ok-ive just received a 8 gig card and spare battery(3.99) off 7day shop but unfortunately the wife insists on wrapping it up for xmas so have to wait till then to try it out ;0(

I have this, the pictures are ok, but it loses the focus when filming

I have the 850is, about 4 years old. Is this much of an
Improvement and worth an upgrade?
