*Code is working with games* - Cheers Gooner!

Use code JANOFFER5 at to receive £5 off when you spend over £20

The intrepid Captain Toad sets off on his own adventure for the very first time through a wide variety of tricky, enemy-infested, maze-like stages to find hidden gems and nab elusive gold stars. The pink-pigtailed Toadette is also introduced as a second playable character in portions of the game. Unlike traditional video game heroes, Captain Toad and Toadette dont have any special powers – these tiny heroes cant even jump! Plus, theyre terrified of just about everything, but face their adventures head on. Armed with headlights and a can-do attitude, they must make their way through enemy-infested locales like Wild West shanties and Goomba waterparks; each location is bursting with puzzles to solve and secrets to unearth.

Very nice price!

I've just managed to get an offer of £25.62 from Flubit based on Amazon's £28.95, if anyone wants to give that a try - apparently it'll be coming from The Game Collection, as here.

Super points will take me down to £20 for this. Tempted, but have games still sealed waiting to be played.

Thanks, ordered!

Heat added. At this price I'm nearly tempted to buy the game... but not quite!

I have this game and its great for when I have 10-20 minutes to kill. don't even bother playing it on the TV most of the time, just the gamepad. It is short and not exactly hard even to 100% it but I'm glad I bought it. breaks up the play of Mario kart 8 and smash Bros lol

In honesty, Captain Toad is a game that anyone can finish within 3-4 (or 2-3 depending how fast you get used it) with a 100% completion. So it's worthy of a rental at the very least, though for Nintendo collectors they'll probably buy and keep it regardless as I've done.
Episode 1 gives a wonderful fresh, modern and innovative experience but then when you get to Episode 2 it's just more of the same slightly changed with the difficulty attempted to be tougher (not really), and Episode 3 is like "Best of Captain Toad's Chapters", you get the picture.
As for the Bonus, the final chapter that makes you collect 5k points (you get them even if you don't go out of your way on the levels for the coins as there's plenty throughout each level + the final has 1000 coins to collect) and reach the final without dying while playing through 50 levels is kinda cheap of Nintendo but at the same time somewhat challenging (it's a lot easier if you stun the enemies on the GamePad). The reward? A "THANK YOU" and Toad/Toadette get to wear a crown.
I know the key points from this already, but you really ought to preface your post with a spoiler warning for those who don't. :)
Agreed!
I'm not normally don't get annoyed by spoilers but as I only done 12 levels this has cheesed me right off. I've also just got Mario 3D, I don't suppose you fancy ruining the end of that for me as well do you?

Luigi dies at the end.

I figured it was such a basic game that it was hardly spoiling anything but eh, some people like to discover it themselves.

The GamePad's screen looks really washed out and rather very inferior to the picture quality of a modern touchscreen monitor or the HDTV you're playing on so whenever possible I avoid games that are on the GamePad's screen only. Unfortunately, Kirby's Rainbow Curse won't give me much of a choice.

It's a short game, but the times you mention are far too short: http://www.howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=19217

You can blast through it, but that's missing the whole point of the game in exploring and finding all the hidden content, it's a great game when you take your time with it.

Great game. My wife (a non gamer) loves helping me find hidden gems/guide the Toads to victory. Something to do with 'cuteness'. Idk.

I have been taking my time with the game and 100%-ing each level along the way. I have completed Book 1, but I have one level left to 100% where I got all the 3 gems, but need to get the bonus challenge item, then Book 1 is 100% complete.

I ordered this from tesco direct @ £28 and used the new customer code to get £10 off, had to make the order up to £50 but i also wanted the other item i ordered and tesco was the cheapest price for that item as they had it half price, so i do feel I got the game for £18.

Sorry if I'm being stupid, but at what stage and where do you add the code? I cant see it during the buying process for some reason.

Edit: Its OK I've found it.... you only get the option as a member and not as a guest.

I am playing that game too! I have so many games that were 'I really need to play this, like right now'

So I am holding out until I can get this at bargain basement price

Thanks OP, purchased. I'd like to get Mario World 3D and Wind Waker HD too, but this and Bayonetta2 will tide me over for a while!

Good find I bought mine at sainsburys at the weekend for 30 quid. Brilliant game and the ability to play the game in the pad allows the kids to watch telly
#28
Excellent game. Played this the most over the Christmas holiday.

Ordered 2 MM Limited Edition, one to play and the other to display. Then I ordered that metallic blue one as my 'play' 3DS. So gonna have to cancel one of the MM ones. Hopefully means somebody else can pick it up as it's showing sold out.
