I won't vote as I'm not sure about it. But I wouldn't trust this at all.

Edit: reason I say that is the amount of cheap imports from places like this without the required safety standard is frightening. I know it says it has some, but as many youtube videos will confirm, many lie.

With a max output as low (and as precise) as 14.5 Watts, it probably has very little use. Described as a device to power a wall charger for a phone. So double dipping transforming to probably provide a 5V supply, yet it also as a 5V output via separate USB of undefined rating. All seems rather bizarre.

Please be aware of the limitations of this item. It does output 220v at 50/60Hz @ 14.5 watts but does not have the standard 3 pin UK socket. I guess you could buy an adapter, if you wanted.

I suggest you have a read of the customer questions on their website before buying.

It might be fine as a spare USB outlet, but not a lot else. Quality and safety unknown so I wouldn't have one in my car. Good find though, and cheap if they work.

I just want to know why it can't be used to the iron-heart transformer.

I'm sure this will get hot! :o

My understanding is this should be used with switch mode power supplies only, I think the iron heart comment means older power supplies with a transformer can't be used, the socket looks like it will take a UK plug and a European 2 pin also, I have an adapter that looks the same. Well I ordered one and will find out in a week or so :-)

Ideal for those who find the Zafira's fire-safety record too bland

Iron heart is probably Chinglish for ferrite core, or in nearer laypersons' terms: a transformer based on wound coils. So the suggested use is for switch-mode transformers only, and very low power ones.

tap tap boom comes to mind

I’m third party fire and theft, as long as it’s completely consumed sounds like a perfect solution to my current cash shortage.

seems very strange this fits USB converter and mains inverter in such a small space, plus it is for non-uk plugs, maybe avoid

My lord, good luck and hope you have good insurance if you leave this little beauty running while unnattended. I think HUKD should ban deals posted for these sorts of unsafe pieces of crap. There's good reasons why our UK electrical standards are so high, it helps people from being killed by dangerous junk like this, that's why you shouldn't find any reputable UK retailer selling these.
