mumbojumbo
The duster is to get into all those awkward nooks and crannies - you know, around the gear lever cover and on the dash.
The chamois ring is to polish your mirrors (and glass, but it's a little small for that really).
The flexi-blade is to whisk the water off your car after washing it - faster than drying with a cloth and leaves a streak free finish!

Fantastic mumbojumbo - rep added!

Flexi blades in general are rubbish, they will cause scratches to your paintwork. I guess most dont care too much about that going by the queue for the car wash at tesco, and the way the jet washers use that brush, makes me want to cry.

Got to disagree with you there, I use an autoglym one and find it superb, I am fussy about my car, used to use a chamois, which could cause fine scratches if used too hard/not rinsed enough, with a blade, minimal pressure, can dry a car in 2-3 minutes. Maybe works better for me as my car always has agood coat of polish to protect ? or maybe some blades are better than others ? but agree with you about car washes, haven't used one since I had a company car !

Not if you wash your car properly, removing all the dirt first and give the blade a quick wipe before swiping it over your car

i pesonally wouldnt use any of these on my car.
only takes a small piece of airborn dust and the blade could leave light swirs/scatches!
just my 2p tho
