Be warned the blue ones would be illegal over here and get you in a whole heap of trouble!

I'm thinking they would look good inside a xbox crystal, its either LED lights or some EL wire running round the edges and jewel for me to choose from!

Anyone know wher I can get cheap EL wire from (apart from ebay?)

Chavtastic!!

They'd look great on a K reg Fiesta with a tin can for an exhaust and a plastic shelf on the boot to minimise "air resistance".

not sure the blue ones would be as they are facing the rear of the car, and therefore cars to the side and front wouldnt see them but you could be right.

As far as I am aware, only emergency vehicles may display blue lights, in any direction.

With these you may as well aso put a sign on your car that says, 'stop me and fine me'

not a bad way to end up in court for imitating an emergency vehicle

how can a small blue arrow stuck on your wing mirror glass that flashes in sync with your indicators be imitating an emergency vehicle?

Because only emergency vehicles can show blue lights. Ergo a vehicle showing blue flashing lights must (legally) be an emergency vehicle, If it is not then it could be said to be imitating one.

What about if you are 200 yards away and it's pitch black, all you would see is a flashing blue light which could be any distance away from you ?

I think these are a great idea. I'm buying blue ones as presents for all of my son's mates. There's a double benefit in that they'll hopefully get fined so much that they'll stop driving and mucking about in the road outside my house. Also the government needs the money to give to bankers.

I don't get what these are for? Don't the indicators on the back of the car show where you're going? Is it just to show off to random people behind you who'll you'll never see in your life?

Psychologically speaking it acts as a sort of magnifying glass for under-endowed teenage boys.

The signs are all there...... Admit it, you're jealous

To me these are just a new form of the lighted washer jets aka 'merchant banker' lights:thumbsup:

Are you saying I want a Bobbit?

Um.....*rap springs to mind! As already mentioned, these would be illegal to use in the UK on a public road.

What is the point of this product :? Aren't 3 indicators on each side of a car enough?

I suppose these mimic the latest Mercedes and volkswagens that have an indicator repeater built into the wing mirror. The self adhesive bit would look really naff - just what I would have fitted when I was 17.

I'd imagine it would be nightmare to get the wiring through into the door and up to the mirror. Door card off etc.

Agreed. At least the Mercs/VW's have them forward facing so that the stray light doesn't pollute your reaward vision at all though.
