Car + Passengers + EuroDisney £23.00 with P&O

Car + Passengers + EuroDisney £23

P&O's currently doing a great deal for Disneybound daytrippers. For £23 (or £33 on Saturdays), you get a return Dover-Calais ticket for a car and up to 9 people (worth c.£35), and a free adult 'hopper' Disneyland Paris ticket, which allows entry into both itstheme parks. Since the Disney ticket alone costs more than £45 on the gate, this is a cracking deal.

The offer's valid for travel between now and 16 July, and can be booked right up until the day before. To get it, go to P&O UK's website* via this link, which will automatically fill in the promotional code box. If it doesn't, enter 'daytripoffer4' in the box when booking to qualify. If the online system's causing you problems, it's also possible to book by phone. Call 0871 664 6747, and again quote 'daytripoffer4'.

After 16 July it'll still be possible to get the free Disneyland tickets (that offer runs until 30th Sept), but crossings will become more expensive. It's also worth noting that P&O sells extra Disneyland tickets at a 15% discount if you need more.

So true, and they wonder why us familes go on holidays during school time.

Nice one - I've wanted to take the kids to Disneyland for ages - shame they'll have to sit in the car park though, what with only having one ticket.....................still, I'll tell them all about it when I'm ready to go home :-D

its 3 and a half hours at least from calais plus the time it takes to get to dover from wherever you are, that a hell of alot of travelling for one day
#8
Anything to stop you booking 4 cars and only taking 1 then using the 4 day passes at £23 per person instead of £45?

Think of all the space you will have on the ferry too :-D

You could probably set up a picnic in the 3 extra spaces............

Just an unfortunate coincidence!

At least they won't have to put up with the rude, disinterested French staff like you will. It's not Florida you know!

's alright - I plan on wearing my Union Jack vest top, drinking Carling out of a Mickey Mouse cup and mooning from the top of thunder mountain - doubt I'll even notice the staff............although they may spot me..............:p

so this is an offer for day trippers. Even if you don't include the time to travel to dover from wherever you are in the UK, it's another 3.5 - 4 hours drive from calais to Paris and that's once you've arrived in Calais. How much are you really expected to see in "1 day" realistically about 3 or 4 hours until they close for the day and then you've still got to make it back to Calias for your return trip back to dover. Some day trip that will be rushing around, constantly keeping an eye on the time and hoping the traffic will be clear on the french motorways.

do forgien nationals need to show thier passport to travel to france by sea?

I think all passengers do, otherwise how are the french immigration officials going to know if you are a EU resident/national.

I'm only giving my views based on the information provided in this deal listing by the OP. The first line clearly says "day trippers". If you book seperate days to travel on the ferry then from my understanding it's not a day trip. It then becomes a 3/4/5/ etc. day return. That's just my opinion and understanding from the information above. Not really interested in this so I won't look into it any further.

Can you not buy two different crossings, Sat and Sun, and just not use the return ferry ticket Sat and outward ticket on Sunday. Gives you weekend and tickets for both days. Just need a hotel for the night, or camp !
#23
You can use the tickets for Disney upto Sept 30th
#24
I think the idea is that you go on several day trips, collect enough tickets, then go for 2-3 days later in the year,
#25
Day trip , what a joke. It is 6 hours driving time from my home to Disneyland - one way. So 12 hours driving plus 3 hours on the ferry. That's 15 hours of the day taken care of. Would spend the rest sleeping in my car.
#26
Great deal if you love driving and don't need sleep to survive!

As someone else briefly touched upon, what's to stop 4 adults each taking a car onto the ferry, parking 3 of the cars in calais and then driving to Disneyland in the other one. You then get 4 free adult hopper tickets.

Why not buy 2 day trips, one on the outgoing day you want to go, and one on the incoming day you want to go back. Therefore you get 2 adult passes into disneyland and a ferry journey for both directions, you just dont use the return journeys on both occasions

Just need to find a good deal on a hotel, is there any holiday inn's near euro disney? They have 2 for 1 vouchers with walkers crisps at the moment
#28
They have the £23 day trips in the offer, BUT ALSO the 'Any duration to Calais' from £30. Still pretty good value for £7 more (and would save you spending £46 buying two day trips.

If this works like the airlines do, if you don't use the outgoing ticket they'll cancel the return.

Needs to be confirmed, but otherwise what's to stop everyone using combinations of these super cheap deals for their holidays?
#30
worst customer service.. would never go with them again.. specially troon branch!
#31
Heat and rep added, Thanks alot!
#32
Just called them to make a booking, all went smoothly. Even after the 16th July day return fare is only £28 for the car but not on Fridays or Saturdays. Will get a few of these in before end of September as vouchers can be used until March 2010. Much better than the Eurotunnel deal a few weeks ago. Heat added
#33
If you dont come back using the return half of your ticket, then,P&O will charge your card with a full price one way ticket.........................
#34
great deal...heat

Whilst it is a little off topic have a look at LD Lines who are running fast ferries from Dover to Boulogne. http://www.ldlines.co.uk/ or Norfolline who also have cheap fares from Dover to Dunquerque https://www.norfolkline-ferries.co.uk/ferry/
