Looking at these in Aldi's yesterday - they always turn up in there around xmas

think its 180 max watts with usb connection

cylindrical shape - might fit in drinks cup holders (as you can now see above !)

says it will power a laptop - so could be ok

Really loud fan in this that runs constantly, so if you want it for running a small TV or a protable DVD player the noise will drive you mad.
I took it back for this reason.

Handy for the works van.

Great find, getting one for camping.

yeah - I'm gonna try to get one for camping too - thanks.

These generate an incredible amount of heat, so make sure it has plenty of space for air to circulate and don't block the fan. And that fan is very noisy. Cheap but it does have its limitations.

I bought mine today, fan is very quiet. Maybe I got a good one?

I doubt very much that your vacuum cleaner is 150 watts or less, they are usually 1,000 to 2,500 watts, also vacuum cleaners have a surge of power on start up above their normal stated wattage.

I think the correct term for these are Power Inverters .They will convert a 12V source to 250V .Goods things to have around . I have an 800w version bought from maplin . You can power emergency lighting from a spare car battery when in a power cut .
Good price too from the Aldi one .

It is a very nice product, I got 2 of them today, there is a fan noise, but I guess that's tolerable, I highly recommend this!
