Something being ugly is in the eye of the beholder.

To me that looks extremely comfortable - I need to upgrade my cardboard box I sit on too.

I used to have one of these but have skipped it now. I bought it at full price a couple of years ago from argos. It is quite a comfortable chair but the material used on the base of the chair is very thin and quite cheap. I used to find that when the littluns would come up to me if I was sat in the chair they would start trying to put their little fingers in the little breathing holes inbetween yer legs and before you know it, it's torn and then every now and then, little bits of the foam start getting picked out and eventually it looks awfull LOL. If you don't have fiddly children you'll be ok. :/ Also i found it quite noisy when it returned from the recline position. A kinda Clunk! noise. A bit annoying. But still at only 50 quid, you could do a lot worse. I was annoyed because I paid like a hundred. Also, because of the "bucket" styling, you cannot fit any of those shiatsu massage pad things in either. Well you could with the 2 that I had. Hope that helped someone anyway. :)

Very hot if you can find it, none around wigan area.

I reserved one, but I am concerned about that arm rest, why does an office chair have no arm rests, maybe they ment it for gaming ?
#21

#27
Looks nice but again, cannot have one now without armrests!

No stock with 15 miles of Southend anyway, certainly wouldn't travel further with the snow atm...

I have one of these chairs, I bought it 3 years ago for £89 from argos, it was weird not having arms at first but I soon got used to it.

The recaro look is what attracted me to the seat. excellent.

It is a very comfy chair and I will be buying a new one at this price as mine is looking a bit tired now.
#29
The no arm rest is obviously meant that you use it at your desk with the arms resting on the desk rather than on the chair's arms.
#30
Excellent. Been eyeing this up for while.
Just reserved the last one local to me.
Thanks.
#31
Do you need to use a seatbelt with this? :)

None anymore :(

Just reserved for collection tomorrow, broke my chair this morning as well as result of xmas festivities

Is that a dipstick hanging off the base of the chair? If you’re after arms but want the look and feel of a car seat, I’m waiting for http://www.ergonomicofficechairs.com to go on sale.
#35
None at Swindon.
#36
bagged last one in stockwell st glasgow, still one left at Glasgow Sauchiehall Street
#37
Well the back on my chair just snapped so managed to reserve one in my area. Not concerned about lack of arm rests really since my arms are usually on the table anyway but just concerned how strong the back is? I'm a 17 stone ex rugby player so have some weight behind me!
#38
Argh, just paid 115 for this before christmas.

I had seen one of these years ago and wanted to do something similar but more comfortable, so a trip to the scrapyard, to pick up a leather seat from an old jag and an afternoons work adapting it to fit onto the base of my old seat has given me one of the best seats I have ever had, and it looks the part with the chrome armrests I latter pulled off a chair I found in a skip, the seat only cost me £30 at the time as well the guy did want me to buy both for £50 though, but I said I only needed the one.

One tip though, if you try this make sure you avoid getting a seat which has any electrics in it or worse an airbag, if you get a seat with no electric tilting ect.. the manual controls will still work perfectly when mounted on the base which means I can recline it as much as I could if it were in a car.

Are Argos not doing same as most retailers and having an extended period for xmas returns? Buy this one at reduced price, and then take unopened item back with first receipt
