Rotating security LED !!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????
Not quite sure what you'd want this for but hey it's supposedly got an R.R.P. of £8.99 so it must be a bargain. Now if only I had a Corsa or a Punto......

If you had a Corsa or a Punto you'd double its value by fitting one of these.

Surely these are illegal to use?!

edit

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

For off road or show use only. These lights must not be visible to other road users. Not legal for use on public highways.

Why would they be illegal?....surely it's not that much diffeerence to having an LED on the dash flashing to tell people the alarm is active.

This one just rotates....and for some reason has a motion sensor :?

My parents have a brand new top of the range Vauxhall Corsa. I've only journeyed in it once. It's a beautiful car. Has everything a driver could possibly need. However, at £14,000 it's hardly the kind of vehicle a chav would own now, is it?

Fiat make awful cars, admittedly. I wouldn't put them in the same league as the better Vauxhall models.

BTW, next time I go to visit my parents (just outside Banbury, Oxon) I doubt their vehicle will be displaying one of these.

It's illegal, apparently, to show blue lights in any form while moving, in case you get mistaken for a police car. The story was doing the rounds a few Christmases ago of a lorry driver who got done for having a 6" Xmas tree in his cab with blue lights mixed in with all the rest.

Of course, like the multitude of silly rules and regulations in the UK, it only applies when the cops can be ar$ed to enforce it. (See the recent thread about bike lights and whether flashing ones are legal.)

You are very naive. Obviously no one is referring to brand new top of the range corsas.
And why do we need to know where your parents live?????

Many modern cars cars with factory fitted immobilisers and alarms have flashing LEDS on the dash to indicate the immobiliser is working - check out a locked BMW Mini. This LED is designed to fake that, like those dummy alarm bell boxes people glue to the front of their houses.
