Been wanting one of these as i am fed up of trying to find a garage with one that works....Very important to keep tyres pumped up correctly to save on fuel and increase ride comfort :) Five pounds seems a good deal in store at asda, asda now charges 40p to use the garage air thingy!!!! Only problem is with the pressure gauge so you will need to buy a separate one of them as well..

ride discomfort more like higher pressure = better mpg but harsher ride

mine rattles the fillings out of my teeth as the ride is very harsh but it corners like its on rails

sod the mpg - drive it like you stole it

You should go to your local Sainsburys petrol station. There air machine is completely free.

Single barrel pumps take ages to pump car tyres up toostation.com (code 78334) double barrel foot pump £5.65 but you need to order over £10 to get free delivery.
Also if your DIYing your tyres you really need an accurate tyre pressure gauge as i've found some garages inaccurate and at £120 a tyre i like mine spot on! So then carry your gauge in the car and use free air at garage's then check/adjust with your own gauge to get it spot on!
