Car Windscreen Cover £1.99 @ Aldi

£1.99 for this is a decent offer, it has to be better than mucking about first thing in the morning with scrapers,Deicer, hot water and jug! then arriving late for work? then just lie it flat under your boot space when not needed.

A must buy for our tragic winters.

Just to save anyone a wasted trip, this is part of their Thursday deals so is available from Thursday 7th Nov.

I see loads of people near to where I live, scraping their windscreens, whilst stood next to their storage area, AKA as their Garage.

Have you tried getting a modern car into a UK sized garage? They're only good for motorbikes. Its about time house builders woke up, and built garages to accommodate cars, and for you to be able to open the doors of the car whilst in there.

You still need to scrape the ice off the side windows as this only covers the windscreen, be better using an old bed sheet or blanket as they would be big enough to cover the side front windows

It can be tiring climbing through the boot.

Still have to do the rest of the windows or the police can pull you over. Still handy and hot!

Good idea but can never be bothered to stand in the cold and put it on!

These are better than the usual cheap nylon covers you get at this price, as they don't stick to the screen the same when damp! I bought one from Aldi last year and it made a real difference on the really cold days. Be careful though, the flaps aren't very robust... at least not if you try to lift the cover off while one of the flaps is still inside the car door :D

I hate having to also deal with ice inside the car too, just wish I had a garage and a covered parking space at the station but this'll help a lot.

Would it be good to keep the beating sun out of the car on those rare summer days when the steering wheel is uncomfortably hot?
