My local Tesco Express is selling all sizes of car windscreen wipers from 16" - 24" for £1.46 each. Sold in single unit packs not per pair.

Fair enough probably not the quality of Bosch etc.. but they do the job.

I bought these a few weeks back - I can't remember the price then - they worked very well on the wife's Ka. The size guidelines aren't very good on the packet though so you may have to guess which are right for your model. I made the mistake of getting two the same length for the front windscreen and had opened both packets before realising the wipers on the car were different lengths - but Tesco exchanged it for the right size with no quibble.
It's always a good idea to measure your old wipers to see what size you need. I bought some from Tesco about a year ago and they work fine. They are showing some signs of rust now so I think another trip to Tesco is in order to get another year's worth of wiping for under £3, as opposed to about £18 from Halfords.

I had measured the rear wiper and one at the front - I just hadn't twigged that the wipers at the front were a different length to each other
cheap as chips.......
can get them in pound shop
For the price these are ok. I used them a couple of times on my previous car. Be warned though, they don't last very long, so you end up changing them more often, and they go juddery quite quickly. Also the studs/joints tend to go rusty very quickly, more a superficial problem than anything else. They were twice this price when I bought them, so they are cheap. I'd consider them as a go-between while you get the money together for a good set of Bosch or similar, or as emergency spares only.
