Excellent price. I would be replacing the crankset, but the rest of the spec has to be unbeatable at this price.

Good spec, including decent wheels which is unusal at this price range.

what would u advice? I'm just looking for a first timer road bike and the previous deal posted from same seller had a 53/39 and 11/25 gear. I was told may not be suitable for hill climbs for those not very fit

I've just moved from a Bianchi with a similar spec 53/39 and 13/26 and I've now got a Eastway Zener D2 - just posted on here. Look for a 50/34 and 12/28 at least.

This particular bike has a Compact, which is 50/34. The reason I was suggesting to swap is that FSA aren't very good (in my experience), not because of the ratios. A compact should be fine for most people, without having to go for a dinner-plate-sized sprocket on the cassette!

After a lot of though I've decided to go for http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/road-bike-1050-decathlon-2615740
Reasons - newer model, better specification, good customer service from declathon, near perfect reviews and little information about Forme in the internet .
