Hi I posed the SEAT deal a couple of weeks back which had some good feedback and thought this might also help someone. Big difference here is that this one doesn't show as in stock, unlike t…

£75.35 x 23 months plus £1200 initial payment = £2933.05

Don't know how you get the figure in the OP but that's not what the site says.

Either way bad deal, you pay out all of this money for a car only to hand it back in 2 years time? High initial £1200 payment and then high monthly payments every month for 2 years for something that is never going to be yours.

but owning a car can false econonmy as you are forgetting that cars depreciate in value. To be honest leasing expensive cars is a better option if you get a good deal. I prefer owning my car anyway, not because its cheaper, just preference.

agree £1200 is alot as a deposit is usually 3 months rental - I have seen some good deals on jags and audis

I think the deal for the Seat was a little bit better than this, since the purchase cost of that car was way above this. You can get this car for less than £7K from drive the deal. Admittedly, you'd have to get a loan, pay interest etc. However, you'd have unlimited mileage, no unfair punitive charges if you get any dings, and after two years, it wouldn't have depreciated more than £3K as these little cars retain their value remarkably well at the moment.

As others point out, rental may be tax deductible for some, which will make it attractive, but I don't think I'd want to pay £3K and get nothing out of it, and only be able to put 10K miles onto a car over two years. Not going to vote though.

does this include insurance as well?

No, unfortunately not! That would be an amazing deal :)

was going to say ! if it includes insurance then it would be bargin! haha

Does anyone know of any lease deals like this that include insurance?

The only one that I know of like that is the Peugeot "Just Add Fuel" promotion (search Google for it), I think that starts at about £180 a month and does exactly what it says on the tin!

Thanks Dave =] x

Hi all Possibly a fairly limited audience for this but I saw it posted on twitter and thought it might help someone out. Would be very interested myself except we're not really in the market…

I thought so too, it is also for metallic only colours as they want higher resale values so I'm getting the metallic white rather than the solid one with the previous deal.

I might have done had it been a higher model that the Visia (black handles on a white car - no thanks!). I'd been sold on the Ibiza FR so found this deal for the 1.6 TDI FR fully maintained inc servicing, tyres, exhaust etc. Working out at £153.98 per month after initial (higher) payment of £960 plus there £180 handling fee. Not as cheap as the other offer but probably better for me as I'm a motorway commuter and a hell of a lot cheaper than other offers I'd seen.

That's not bad at all - I think I'd have preferred the TDI and with the maintenance as well that's a really good deal. (Worth posting as a new deal - when you've got your car of course :) )
Did anyone go for the Juke? What deal did you get?

Thanks
Sorry it didn't work out lads and lasses. It really is a nice car. I would guess that it's not that they can't get them (stick "Ibiza lease deals" in Google and they're everywhere) but that they couldn't get them at that price. I hope you all get sorted with something suitable.
Yep! I rang on purpose and they said the same to me. Didn't buy the excuse but bottom line is the deals off! Congrats Dilbert! Well done for securing a car! :)
