They also have season 1 at the same price, but choices have it at 50p cheaper, HOWEVER, if you use Quidco, the saving is better with HMV!!
The first season of Dan Knauf's sublime "Carnivale" ended in a shroud of near-infuriating mystery. The tense, slow pace of the first 12 hours provided many questions and almost no answers, but fear not - you're about to find out exactly what's been going on...and then have yet more wonderfully intriguing questions thrust upon you.
Season two evolves at a faster pace than the first, hurtling towards its apocalyptic climax with alarming yet thrilling speed. Brother Justin (played superbly by the inimitable Clancy Brown) is gaining in strength, power and followers and it seems that a meeting with the carnival and his nemesis is inevitable.
The fact that this astonishing season was to be the last is hugely upsetting, since the show is unique and truly magical. HBO shockingly cancelled it before the third season was commissioned but they still hold the rights, so it could be a long time until we are treated to the resolution of this remarkable tale. So pick up the discs and cherish these last episodes - it will be a long time until we see a show of this calibre again.
