All you have to do is sign up to an 18 month contract and choose a tariff that is £35 or above. Then just come back after 9 months and swap your handset. Don't miss out on this fantastic offer.

How does it work?

lol, lovely as always to get such a cold reception :)

You get an upgrade on your current handset, like the model above and have to give your old handset back. You pay the maxium (£35 per month) and you dont get the deals like half price line rental for 6months or anything like that

Funny how this is being received. I work in carphone for my sins, and since this 'Swap it' was introduced a couple of weeks ago its been a really big success. Horses for courses I guess but with younger more fashionable types the idea of getting the latest handset free every 9 months instead of every 18 months is more appealing than a £150 trade in or loads of cashback via redemption.

Obviously not a 'Bargain' but just another option for people that are led by other things than just value/cheapest deal.

This is a bad deal. Get a 12 month contract, new phone after 11 months and you can SELL your old phone.

Like I said, not a bargain. Yet still popular. Most of my customers will not go for 12 month deals as they all want unlimited texts on the 18.

Awful.

Guess it can't get colder than -273.15°C... That would be impossible!

Ok, I'll get my coat..

Its a good idea in principle but to take a £35 contract on for 18 months is a joke, you would be better buying a pay as you go phone and putting your contract sim in it.
