Just spotted this on my way in to work through the snow. Looks like it was at all Morrison's filling stations (possibly replicated in-store too?) - the one I visited was on A62 Oldham Road on outskirts of Manchester. At least 40-odd containers on display.

Looks like a good deal to me - filling stations aren't usually the best places to get cheap screenwash, but this was a) under half their usual price and b) cheap anyway. Works to minus 5 degrees C (it claims). 5 litre container.

First deal posted - shame it's not summat a bit more exciting. Let's be careful out there!

Not good value for premixed? Not sure you could find it much cheaper.

Picked some up last night from instore...

I couldn't agree more that screenwash concentrate is better value than pre-mixed ... but if you like the convenience of buying pre-mixed and just pouring it in, or you don't always remember to carry around litres of water in your car to make up your concentrated stuff, or (most likely) you get "caught short" coz you've used way more than normal trying to clear the ice/snow/salt off your screen ... this looked like a good deal - just chucked one in teh reservoir and another in teh boot, so I know I'm good for the next couple of weeks.

If anyone knows where you can get pre-mixed cheaper, I for one would be all ears!

You can always just carry a full container of concentrated wash around with you and in an emergency use it neat. I don't recall ever having any which was so concentrated that it said not to.

At the moment for me getting any type screenwash would be good. The local supermarket is always out of stock, as was the nearest garage when I last filled up. I will have to resort to isopropyl/meths and a dash of detergent if I can't get any in a day or two.

Its simple - Buy the concentrate and pre-mix it ready in bottles :)

This is a fair price for pre-mix, but its a total waste of money - buy concentrate.

Come on greeny/eco people back us up here!! pmsl

I bought 2 of these a few weeks ago in store.

With some of the extreme cold we've had this winter (and could have more) concentrate gives you the option of using it more concentrated so it doesn't freeze. Cheap pre-mix is often unsuitable at anything much below freezing.

Even Tesco 'extra concentrated' (£3 for 2.5l) is only guaranteed down to minus 9 undiluted.

Ok, typically they are sold only in the petrol station. I would know as I work at one of the stores.
