WARNING! Be aware that this stuff is VERY acidic and will etch your alloys with repeated use.

Yes, it is effective, but then it's taking a layer of clearcoat off every time you use it!

A much better proposition is the likes of Valet Pro's very popular Bilberry http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wheels-and-tyres/valet-pro-bilberry-wheel-cleaner-1-litre-/prod_499.html

Yes, it is seems a lot dearer, but then you only use it diluted at say 1:4 so works out at not a lot more... Much. much safer to protect your expensive alloys. Have a 'google'...

Not voted either way - yes, it's a good deal, but only if you don't care for the effect on your wheel finish.

I'd be very careful with this, I was stupid and didn't realise what it did until it was too late. I had to replace 2 of my alloys as this stuff caused lots of bubbling on the wheel as it basically stripped all the protective coating off.

Yes agree also when using this stuff clean one wheel at a time and wash off immediately i only use this if i've not cleaned my wheels for a few weeks ie winter time with salt and brake dust caked on

If you manage to reserve it just make sure you call the store to ensure it is actually in stock. I reserved this last week in a Glasgow branch and turns out they have got none. This branch is still showing it as in stock!!!!!!!!!!!

Mickey Mouse website, reserved many times only to get the "sorry we`re out of stock" phonecall. Waste of time.

Picked this up from Costco for £6.49 + VAT yesterday along with some Simoniz car shampoo and wax stuff.

I agree with what has already been said before, this is a very strong and acidic wheel cleaner that cleans very well, and should be used with care. I only use it if the wheels are very dirty and have dirt and brake dust that have been on them for a long time. For regular wheel cleaning it is safer to use Bilberry.
