its a race frame but with flat bars so classed a fast hybrid, the tyres bwing 700x28c are thin but not as thin as the proper road bikes so these can handle pavements, tow paths etc
if your looking at subways, go for the subway limited edition

Took it out on a 16 mile trip yesterday, me and my brother are normally very close. He had absolutely no chance yesterday I left him on pretty much every hill. Think he is a bit gutted as he has just forked out £550 on a GT mountain bike, and added road tyres. I was also very close to my other mate and he has a £1500 trek bike, and I know for a fact that he is fitter than me!
