Bought 6 in total. Will post receipt soon.

Edit: Its actually 200g I think. And it was the old style jars, as in the picture.

I think its actually the 250g jar.... you are correct. And I only picked the old style jars.... not as shown here...

Don't know if that makes a difference....

Apologies to everyone. I'm not so good at this! More care and facts required.

It is 200g. But it still scanned at £1.50 and not the £5.00 on the shelf. The receipt just says "coffee".

Still a good price, though! :)

Apologies again.

Couldn't get the image of "The Oracle" from Benidorm out of my head when I watched this guys review!
Best deal I've had on Carte Noir was Waitrose offering the 200g jar at £5 on a BOGOF deal last year, bought £100's worth,
so I'm now looking to re-stock!

Just rang the "care-line" Number: 08081008787 and they say the product "Carte Noir" is discontinued.
"L'Or", is a different product, but
the packaging style and labeling have been retained as customers like it!
Their response when I said "So, it is intended to mislead the public" was just to repeat "it's not the same product.
...don't think I'll even bother to try it!

I'm surprised they don't make it on one of their 'Farms'... :)

As pointed out above, they're rebranded Carte Noire and the new 200g jars are on offer at £5.00 at Tesco.

Old http://www.bmstores.co.uk/images/hpcProductImage/imgFull/261582-Carte-Noire-Classic-200g1.jpg

New http://img.tesco.com/Groceries/pi/911/8711000363911/IDShot_540x540.jpg

My local has plenty of the old 200g jars on a clearance shelf, but the label is for £5.85. The barcode ends in 744 and I'd be interested to hear if anyone gets these jars for £1.50.

Priced @ £5.00 in my Tesco and scan @£5.00 so possibly a glitch at that one store.

I asked customer services to scan one of the old style 200g jars in the my local store today. The shelf edge label still said £5.85, but it scanned at £4.23.
