just looking on ebuyer this morning for a cheap power supply as my old one has croaked!

I would advise strongly against fitting a budget PSU to any system..they are prone to failure and can cause catastrophic damage....avoid and budget for a decent PSU.

[SIZE=2]After some of the responses to previous PSU deals I think you're a brave man posting a cheap PSU deal edi!! I got my cheapo from ebuyer too. I do have some problems though and suspect my PSU could be a cause. Runs nice and cool and quietly though.[/SIZE]

Had Casecom PSU in one of my PCs. It didn't went on fire, just smelled of burned plastics. And it took motherboard with it. RIP.

There isn't such a thing as a cheap PSU, only a cheap death trap

Personally i'd never put anything cheaper than an Antec Smartpower anywhere near a computer
