Absolutely brilliant watch for holidays - dual time comes in handy when phoning home and 50m water resist means it'll be safe in the pool too. Nice find O/P!

I love how they list that as an alternative to the watch. :)

I think the cover "glass" on this is plastic. I have one of the sub £6 Casio watches that I have used for about 4 years as a holiday watch, that is unmarked, but the strap gave up so I thought I might as well replace the watch. I bought one of these posted here, and within 2 weeks the cover is badly scratched. It is a shame really as I quite like the watch.

Yes, it probably is plastic and will scratch easier than glass but it does have a couple of advantages; it's lighter and it's much easier to polish out those scratches when you get them. I have two Timex watches, one is very old and has a plastic crystal, the other is much newer with mineral glass. The newer one is lying unused in a drawer somewhere because I can't get rid the scratches. The old one still gets used regularly and looks almost as good as new because I have been able to polish out any scratches as they appear. Even toothpaste works on very light scratches.

Sorry, looks like we have cleaned them out. :(
