This is the GT PLUS version so mgiht be solar powered if you're reading the wrong web sites, I'm pretty sure it's not solar powered now. This is annoying as it means I will have to pedal faster to make up for the lost energy.

Suitable for GCSE, A Level and above.
LCD display.
9 data memory.
Non-stick keys.
10+2+12.
Auto shut-off.
260 functions.

Verify function.
Prime factorisation.
Algebraic logic.
Regression analysis.
Statistical functions.
Hyperbolic.
24 levels of parenthesis.
Metric conversions.
Dual power source - solar and battery.

Here's the manual, fascinating read, I love the bit where you can add up numbers, brilliant!

This does Prime factorisation where you can work out the statistics of getting a delivery from another supplier if Amazon Prime stops working for you. If you enter Yodel as a delivery service it always says division by zero which is a fancy way of saying error.

This can't make the tea or forecast the weather, but the MetOffice have a hard job doing that anyway and they have a massive fancy computer, so you've no chance with this really.

Thanks for posting fishmaster :) I think the Casio FX-83 is battery only and it's the Casio FX-85 that is battery/solar powered

Yeah I'm confused as Argos even say it's dual powered >

Ryman say the GT85 is solar powered at the bottom of this link and not the GT83 Plus >

Damn I got ripped off with those solar panels on my house then, I should have known as the company was called Emperor's New Clothes Solar Energy.
