great price. 308 left in stock

Already have two yellow GW6900. Paid £30 each @ Amazon over 1 yr ago.

Might buy the black version too.

Just a shame the radio control doesn't work in Hong Kong. Hong Kong is just out of range of the Chinese transmitter.

This is a great price...... its £6 cheaper than when it was posted on here a month ago.
Its also radio controlled timekeeping as well, which Argos don't mention.

Well hot.

So tempted, really want a solar g shock. Have a g shock 18 months old, can i justify a new one

Argos will keep reducing the price until they are all sold.

Not sure they will sell over 300 watches @ £44.99

Only prob with Argos/Ebay is that they often sell returns as new..... nearly every time there's a watch deal from them, when some posters order it, the poster comes back to the thread and complains the watch has obviously been used. Some packaging is missing and sometimes the watch is scratched.
Its bang out of order from them to do this..... but you can get really cheap prices.
#7
Just seen the other thread. Seems lots of customers have received customer returns.

Also, under returns, it says "Buyer pays return postage"

I assume I can't return it to store for a refund if they send me a customer return.
#8
I've ordered a watch from Argos/Ebay before and it was fine, although it was a good few years ago now..... but the constant complaints of used and returned watches has put me off ordering from them again.
In fact its stopped me ordering this G, even if the price is tempting...... Although its the GW5610 I'd really like to see a good deal for.
#9
Surely they can't have 300 returns?

I doubt every watch will be a return..... but a lot of stuff gets returned to Argos under their 30 day money back guarantee..... and when you take into account all their stores all over the country, there will be a lot of watch returns in Argos warehouse. These are then punted on Argos/Ebay.

Just got this delivered today, as did my brother. They were both brand new.

266 left in stock so 42 sold since my first post.

So will probably be sold out in 3/4 days time or maybe earlier if this deal goes hot.

what colour is this watch? is it black? it looks grey?
#17

That was £51.99 but the op changed the price yesterday to £44.99.
#18

It hasn't got Tough Solar or Radio Control and is not a G Shock.

Great watch, wearing mine now - arrived brand new. It's completely black, see the better photos in the previous thread - the pics on ebay are awful.
#23
Feel sorry for the two people who bought the watch when the price shot up from £51.99 to £69.99 on 6th an 7th December.

Hold on I'll phone Gerard Butler and find out.

Good deal for a radio controlled solar powered G Shock. My Casio GW-M5610-1ER Wave Ceptor Radio Controlled G-SHOCK is still going strong 4 years on and is the best watch I've ever owned! Bought it for near £60 back in the day but now the asking price is £100?!?

If it's possible, order into an Argos store for collection, check it, and if you find out it's a return then get a refund there and then.

It did drop to £70 recently or £56 with 20% fashion discount.

Amazon are currently out of stock.

The current model is Multiband 6 so Radio control is possible in parts of China but not Hong Kong.

Probably not. If you refuse to accept the watch, it will probably be returned to the seller (Argos ebay) before issuing the refund.

Sorry, I meant to say that you won't need to pay to return it as someone said there's a "buyer pays for return" policy - which is always a pain if you're not in the wrong.

Cracking watch for the money. I spent far more than this 6 months ago.

I set the time on my automatics to this watch and picking it up after it's been sat for week on shelf knowing it will still be the right time.

In the ebay argos help section it says..

My item is faulty, what next?

Please contact us before leaving feedback and we will do our best to help you. It's best to use the Return Item link in your eBay Purchase History to request a return and we'll respond as quickly as possible.

Got mine today. The box it came in wasn't in perfect condition, but the content inside was new, including the watch.
#38
Just received mine and it's 100% a customer return!

It has a large sticker saying examined by QC and its missing the plastic bag. The tag is loose and not attached to the watch.

At least returns are straight forward with the free collect + return label.

Pictures to follow.

Mine came in the same condition, but the watch was in a plastic bag. Even though everything seems ok in the box, I'll be having a word with them about it.

I also had a QC sticker on mine.

Been posted on here for a long time, about Argos/Ebay selling customer returns described as new or just box opened...... shouldn't really be a surprise to anyone by now.
Argos/Ebay deals should be banned from the forum for mis selling.
