What's with the compass points on it?
#13
The strap will probably need to be repaired at some point, looks good though.
#14
"Moon/tide graph."

And what use is that? Does the watch name "Illuminator" have some relevance?

... for at least the same cost as Argos are asking for the full watch! Even so, still a good deal, even if you throw it away after 18 months.
#18
Thanks for the post. Been on the look out for a new watch so have reserved one. Cheers!
#19

If you are into beach / sea sports the tide graph is a very important feature!
#23
I got one of these for christmas and its excellent. the illuminator is a function where if you tiurn it on when you turn your wrist to look at the time the back light comes on. Bit distracting if your driving. fantastic price

It's got a 2 year warranty, so I suggest you wouldn't throw it away after 18 months!

I have this watch, bought from amazon 6 months ago for about £20.

The tide graph is handy, i live in town 6 miles from my boat so can tell when it's a good time to go rowing.

I had the Sea Pathfinder version before and the strap broke after 2 years - So although the watch has a ten year battery, that doesn't help if it falls off after two. I'm waiting to see how long this one lasts.
#27
Great price, hot deal. I like the look of the watch - for bumming about i have a Suunto watch, not dissimilar to this but 10 times the price.

I'm a sucker!!!

Ordered one to collect from Camberley. I HOPE this is dual time-zone, as I'm off to New York soon.

Is there really any need?, after manually adjusting any watch -5 hours for EST when you get there, you only have to remember that any time that it is in New York its exactly 5 hours ahead here with British Summer Time,

Thanks for this, just been to pick one up, very nice watch! :D

By the look of things it will take a generic strap, the Velcro ones from Gul are pretty good, standard Casio straps (and general build quality) are pretty dire.
#35
Just reserved the last one at my local Argos - great deal. As for the tide function, it is very useful for anyone who sails or fishes - I have had Casio tide watches for years and the tide function works great.
#36
Got mine.. not a bad watch, tide feature could prove useful - happy for 6pm to come around so I could confirm without doubt that my analogue movement matched the digital readout

Tell you what would be more interesting, turning your caps lock key off so you are not shouting on forums, its called etiquette....

Also, have you ever thought of using your initiative and looking at the range of watches Casio offer to see if they actually do a model that meets your requirements. Try going to casio.co.uk then try going to products...then try going to watches, and hey presto.

I used [b] and Caps because I wanted people to see the line of text....

I have collected Casio watches for 30 years, I am looking for similair to above but with Thermometer, but I dont want to buy from China ATM.... If anyone sees anything on the Argos site please LMK

Especially if it is reduced....
