I quite like the style of this and, if I didn't already have too many watches, I think I would buy it. Voted hot.

LooneR
Even cheaper now at £21.99. Heat added.

Don't forget the postage.

I have a nice watch already but with my birthday next week I couldn't resist another new watch...I really shouldn't buy my own posted deals! Does anyone know of an anti-HUKD antidote for resisting to purchase great deals.....LOL.

Yeah, I changed the post but it takes time lol. I ordered one and should receive it Friday, more likely Sat (if they deliver during the weekend, otherwise Monday).

And people who own Ferraris prefer them to a Ford Fiesta. Way to name drop the fact you have a watch over £1000, congrats.

At least you have got peace of mind that if you drop it in the sink it won't be prone to water damage.

Could somebody let me know the size / diameter please when they receive one?
Great looking watch but I've only have a thin wrist so got to make sure it's not a whopper !!
Can't see the spec detailed in the ad.
Cheers in advance.

If you read the Amazon customer reviews I think someone said he purchased one and it had just fitted his wrist which he measured at 21cm in diameter. So if your wrist is larger than this you will need a longer replacement wrist strap. Link to Mr. David A. Lavander Amazon (UK) Wrist Size Link

Also the watch dimensions diameter/thickness are in the details of my post, hope this helps.

life's too short to be bitter

I've received my watch today. The watch fitted my small wrist comfortably with some holes to spare, it looks very nice and looks the 'part'. The dial and luminous hands look very classy. It's a bit smaller in size than a conventional more expensive divers watch but having small wrists it looks correct in proportion for me. The watch strap is sturdy and again comfortable. The two LED iights shine really bright (tried it under the stairs cupboard) The box it was packaged was a bit battered (ex-Argos store opened cardboard box with stickers). Read the instructions first before adjusting as the screw down crown (next to the number 3) can be a bit fiddly but once worked out it's very straight forward to change the time and date

For £24.98 it was a great buy and looks a far more expensive watch, very pleased with the purchase. Only disapointment now is that I can't use it untill my birthday next week...under orders from SWMBO..!!!

How old are these stock. Mine is losing two minutes a day and needs a new battery. How would I go about getting this done under the 12 months warranty?
#36
Mine stopped altogether yesterday, didn't notice till last night as I forgot to put it on in my rush out of the door.

After pressing the light button though, it sprung back into life. So I wonder if my battery is in need of replacement too? :|
#37
So far mines ticking away. I don't think the battery is covered under casio warranty.

Should be covered by Argos warranty though? Will drop them an email later via Ebay. Hope they will replace the battery as the watch is really smart. Good deal OP.

I think I've read in these forums somewhere that somebody took a watch to there local Argos store and got the strap adjusted by just producing the delivery/invoice note from Argos Ebay. Although it's an ebay store Argos are still involved. I purchased an exercise bike last year off Argos Ebay,it developed a fault, to cut a long story short it was actually Argos who telephoned me and arranged collection and a refund with no problems.

So visit your local Argos store and see if they can pop a free battery in for you, it's worth a try.

Cheers Wowhats - will give it a go on Friday when I am off.
