I've used the digital version of this watch for a couple of years, and can honestly say it is the best watch I have ever owned. Well recommended.

i had a very similar one to this one, paid about £45 for it.

when it broke after a couple of months the jewellers sent it to casio and casio lost it, sent a random cheap watch and tried to tell me that was the watch i had.

will never buy a casio watch again but i havent voted on this

Got one on the Argos deal a little while ago and I quite like this watch (Wear it most days). Goes without saying that it's tip top split second accurate. Has some slightly confusing alarms on it. Also has a stopwatch, world time and hourly chime etc. Personally I prefer analogue watches with a digital date display.

On a slightly negative note I wish I could read the time in the dark - it is luminous, but I can't read it. I t also has an indiglo backlight, but that only lights up the LCD panel. The LCD can display a world 2nd time or day and date etc. (I normally have mine to display day and date). So in the night when you put the light on all you see is the day and date.

Hey, I'm being picky it's still a great watch, don't have the strap too tight as they are prone to snapping, at this price it's a billy bargain. Enjoy.

read the instructions, you can get the time on the LCD panel, therefore it does light up & therefore you can read the time,i got caught out on this too, hope it helps

Dado, I didread the instructions and I know how to use the watch and most of it's features.

I think you missed my point a little - I know you can get the time on the LCD, but I prefer it to show the date, that way during the day I can easily check the date etc.. I also just like having the date on show all the time on a watch. If the date is on show and you wake up in the night it's then really difficult to see the time using the light.

IE the light only illuminates the LCD, not the whole watch face - that was the point I was making. I guess it's a compromise, keep the LCD on the time display and then you can then see it it at night. Set it to date and you haven't got a chance at 3am in the morning.

Maybe I just need to sleep better - Thanks mate.
