"A Rose by any other name......"
You were well aware , as is evidenced from your comments in the previous scam, that "Cassini Maps" are the exact same Company involved in the previous scam post !

Q. "But what are you gaining by it? :|" - A. By alerting other members to avoid being scammed again , losing their hard earned cash - wasting their precious time, energy & distress caused!

* Trolls are people who for no reason want to disrupt a forum topic by constantly posting out of context posts, derogatory comments, throwing insults, making personal attacks and deliberately inciting a negative response from other members." -
Which is what you seem to spend your time doing, as is also evidenced from your comment !

Now pressing IGNORE tab & will leave this distasteful matter in the hands of the MODS/ADMIN !

Excellent - that's the end of his trolling for me, then. :p Shame he's still allowed to carry on annoying other people.

I’m sure its wishful thinking more then anything, but similarly I’ve not had mine yet. Heres hoping their trying to rectify an almighty balls up!

No question of rectifying it. If you complain to them you get two options:

1 They'll send you another map on exactly the same paper (not cream, not silk and not high quality) - but with your street name printed on it.

or

2 You can get a refund - but only if you send the original back at your own expense (which will be a minimum of £1.33 because of its size).

Sorry but Im not that soft, the amount of money is irrelevant, I want to get what I paid for or at least make enough noise so they won't ripothers off in future. Cassini maps have not replied to my latest enquiry although I am sure they are busy taking orders and pressing the photocopier button. The telegraph said they would deal with it but have despite the email they sent me saying it would be with me in 10 working days they have not responded further. Phone calls will be placed on Monday to both.

Absolutely. Cassini have gone very quiet on this (and the Telegraph), both hoping that the problem's going to go away without damaging them.

I think they might be proved wrong........

Has anybody had a reply from the telegraph yet? I rang them before xmas and they said they would come back to me... not heard anything yet

* "Nope - not a peep from them. Did manage to get a refund from the company selling them, though".*

* (Thanks to defgimp& toiletseatlicker for spotting the other scam so fast from a year ago. !)

The feedback from the previous post ( which Op was clearly part of ) is so damning, that this should be more than enough for you needs.
Had it not been for 'defgimp '&' toiletseatlicker' picking up on this post so quickly, there could have been a re-run of the previous Saga, which appears to have been, without doubt, the sick intention of the OP.
I have gone to the time & trouble of investigating this & alerting both Admin & Mods of the matter, so I am very surprised to note, that apart from your comment, HUKD has thus far not taken any action to remedy this serious breach of conduct. & the post remains open for members to fall foul of !

I'm puzzled by your attacks, castara0 - and all because I 'dared' to post a critical comment on your Carluccio's deal! Your constant self-promotion of your own deals is one thing, but your frequent attacks on fellow-members who disagree with you is another thing entirely.

You frequently call those who disagree with you 'trolls'. That's not trolling - it's simply discussion. Your personal attacks (which, as in the posts above, contain distortions and untruths) do you no credit, but I'll leave others to judge. I shan't be descending to your depths.

For the record, I had nothing to do with posting the earlier deal you're referring to. It was a Daily Telegraph deal, and referred to a printed A3 replica sheet. This is a Saga deal and refers to this:

The free map (the “Map”) will be from one of Cassini Publishing Ltd’s (“Cassini’s”) three historical mapping series (Old Series, Revised New Series, Popular Edition) ("Map series") of large-format covered and folded historical sheet maps covering England, Wales and the Isle of Man.

The original deal was posted over a year ago. Do you remember every deal every posted, because I don't! There have been plenty of deals that haven't worked out - Tesco, for example. Does that mean nobody can ever post a Tesco deal again?

I'll leave you to continue your frequent posts in support of your own deals - if that gives you some sense of well-being, fine. If you want to continue trolling by attacking those who dare to disagree with you - again, fine.

But what are you gaining by it? :|
