Good deal. Its getting decent reviews apart from IGN / Gamespot / 1UP who apparently got dodgy review code. Most other places give it 80 or 90+.

Anyone know whether its worth getting the 360 or PS3 version? I'm leaning to PS3. Online videos seem to look slightly better but can't be sure. Could do with comparisons.

took me ages to decide on which version to get

I usually get the 360 version of games as they tend to be a little better visually on 360 (like with Enslaved), it has achievements ( which I prefer to trophies), I have a huge friends list, I pay for xbox live so I like to get my moneys worth, but I ended up getting the PS3 version

it just feels like a PS3 game to me, also getting a PS3 game always feels that little bit more special, I prefer the outer case, its a blu-ray disc etc

I was massively hyped for this game until the GS and IGN review, still getting it as most of the scores are around 80/90 %,

I read several reviews saying the PS3 version is better as the game was originally developed for PS3 then ported to Xbox. This game is definitely worth the high ratings and if you check the forums the IGN/Gampespot and GameTrailers were bashed for the poor and unfair reviews they gave.

It's decided then!

PS3 is my console of choice anyway (assuming the quality isn't any worse) but if the graphics actually are a bit sharper and framerates better, I'll go for ps3. I guess I'm used to playing God of War with the dualshock anyway :p Cheers for the deal. Appreciated.

Can't you just list the code here for us? I just cancelled my order thinking it was an easy online registration and found out you needed to have a code from some walkers special packs.

a new registered account has 0 point but fill in a 10 second survey you will get 2 points, which is enough to redeem a 10% voucher in game section

Followed the instructions but the survey just wasn't there for me which is what made me ask for the code itself.

Done this but it didn't bring up the survey so I wanted the code since I couldn't go through the survey to get it. Plus if it's always the same code I'd still be doing this for just the code anyway and could leave the registering.

You don't need no walkers code from any special packet

Follow the steps above and you will get a code unless you have already registered before

I tried it twice with two different email accounts and both got codes it is not rocket science

The survey should appear if not use a different internet browser

Just signed up and tried to use it, but no discount was applied. I completed everything on the Walkers site, but The Hut won't apply any discount when I input the code.

Oh well, looks like I'm waiting for this to drop to the magic £20 mark.

No it's not rocket science and I've done it twice myself now but I just felt it wasn't explained very well where you register. You simply said 'Register on there for the Rainy Days promotion, fill in the survey that pops up and you are awarded 2 points.' which made me think a survey actually popped up (like a pop up), which it didn't. The whole site is about the same thing so I tried to register by going through the straightforward process of clicking on the area to predict the rain and once you do your asked to register but if you do it this way they DO ask for the walkers special packet code just to enter the competition. What I wanted was for it to be explained where you register and that is simply by looking at the top right of the page and clicking the 'register' button which then doesn't ask you to do the special packet code and does do the extra survey too.
Simply it's because you never specified where to register I thought I could do it anywhere. Then it was also unique codes whereas I thought it was not at first so wanted the code put up here. It's all sorted now though.

It worked for me :)

Was gonna give up,but thanks for the new explanation, worked great.

Another offer came up after ordering that gives a further 10 pounds cashback - if you cancel within the 30 day trial period I think, and would end up for 17 pounds if goes as planned, GREAT !!!

Try the demo before you buy on PSN.
#18
Like the videos I have seen of it on IGN and GameTrailers - will definitely be picking it up, but going to wait for Zavvi Price :p

I played the demo from the PSN last week and to say it's a return to form for games of this ilk is an understatement. My boyfriend wasn't so impressed (then again he's crap at games)

I also have to say I enjoyed the voice acting as well - (hello to) Jason Isaacs, Sir Patrick Stewart, Robert Carlyle and Natasha McElhone are not names to sniffed at!

Film on the way next year....

The Walkers thingy is easy peasy
Ordered my copy as this was one game that influenced my purchase of a PS3

This game is a MASSIVE result! I loved the 3D Castlevania's on N64, and to see a healthy return to the format is just great! Plus it plays gorgeously! Don't really give 2 hoots to PS3, so getting 360 copy, and anyone else who's wondering about it just go for it! It's going to be an epic win all round! ;)

and thanks to OP for this deal! (almost forgot to say that!)

Just noticed the demo on the 360 today

It's (gone up to?) £34.99 so 10% off is £31.50 not £28.74
