The third Castlevania title to arrive on Nintendo DS puts players in the middle of a war against the forces of Dracula in this praised handheld side-scroller.

The Castlevania series seems to have found its home on the Nintendo DS. With a strong collection of Castlevania platformers already on the system, Order of Ecclesia once again follows the Castlevania formula of complex environments and challenging combat merged into one. In this edition players take on the role of Shanoa, member of the fabled Ecclesia: a team sworn to defend the lands from Draculas evil minions. As well as the more typical castle-based levels Castlevania is known for, a number of external environments have also made their way into the title, including forest and ocean levels.

Shanoas vast range of moves gives players 100 different combinations of attacks to face foes with. The Glyph attack system allows players to mix these moves together to create unique moves of their own. Using the Nintendo DS Wi-Fi Connection, players can now compete against one another in head-to-head level challenges online.

Castlevania Order of Ecclesia gives Castlevania fans another solid slice of vampire platforming, its unique blend of tough battles and crisp, 2D visuals perfect for the handheld.
