This might be more popular than the last deal I posted for the 4.5 litres Asda smart price oil :)

2 litres of Castrol GTX 10w-40 oil £3.98. Therefore £7.96 for 4 litres - a rip off £19.99 in Halfrauds for same amount, or normally £12.87 in Asda stores that sell the 4 litre cans.

They also had: -
GTX Magnatec 5w-30 2L £6.71
GTX Diesel 10w-40 2L - £4.39

General rule seems to be all oil in Asda living is half price, at least in the Leeds Crown Point store.

To find your nearest ASDA living store, click "go to deal" and type in your location and select "ASDA Living" and it will tell you your nearest store. There appear to be 16 of them across Great Britain. Basically it's an ASDA without groceries and more clothes and tellies etc.

Nice price, saw your post of ASDA price oil, would definately recommend this over that lol.

On a side note, make sure this is the correct oil for your car and that your not mixing different types of oil (fully synthetic, part synthetic etc) as it *can* cause problems. :(

I don't think it should cause any problems but probably best not to buck the trend and go for the petrol one. Might be that the extra added cleaners in the diesel oil would cause a problem I don't know.

Useful oil website http://www.carbibles.com/engineoil_bible.html

Try the Castrol website to determine how much oil your engine takes http://www.castrol.com/castrol/iframe.do?categoryId=9024084&contentId=7044829 it varies car to car but it will probably be about 4 litres

Or like every car I've had they take around 4.5litres... They used to come in 4.5l jugs and now the large size is 4l! That way you have to buy the 1litre jug aswell which is usually around £10 irtself!

Heat for this one! I've got an ASDA living about 3mi away so I'll pop in and have a look.

Go to an automotive store they are all 5l . My engine is 3.3l every garage though always puts in 4.5l then i have to siphon it out. Btw its a 1.4l petrol.
