My cree light was only 20.00 and it has over 285 lumin, which lights up the street and waterproof and shock proof and made of military grade steel.
I gave up on bike lights a long time ago, once I found these torch things that are 10x as bright and 10x as tough, and 10x as cheap

Dealextreme do excellent bike lights for a fraction of the price of this deal. front light here and rear light here for around £10

Especially as I'll be buying with a cycle2work voucher so have to use Halfords for the accessories. If I can get a better light set for less money using my voucher, I'll have more for other bits! May try popping in there over the weekend then.

Halford canned the 15% off sometime today (5th Oct) so I won't be ordering them. They have no stock locally (Slough) anyway, and is not available for online ordering. Smells of sharp practice to me...
