thanks for that - but are supposed to vote on whether its a good deal - not whether its the cheapest thing you can get - paper knickers are cheaper than Knickerbox - but i wouldn't wear them !

What i am trying to say is - i have loads of cheap mugs -and they are fab - but wouldn't think much of a pal who bought me four 75p mugs as a pressie but i would love 4 of these - these are quality mugs and for people who like Cath Kidston they are a great price mate ;)
#6
They are rather nasty designs.

I'd rather have a plain mug, minus the logo on the bottom, at 1/5th of the price.
#7
Compared to what these mugs usually sell for this is a good price.

However, these mugs are no better than your 75p ASDA special. We were given a set of 4 (star ones) as a moving in present. The printing is poor and the volume of the cup is less than average, so you only get half a proper cup of tea! I would never buy them, but if you are a fashion sap, be my guest!

A quick google shows they are around £4 normally from the majority of retailers - is this cheap for them and a good deal as Amazon doesn't show the RRP?
suspended 1 Like #11
you'd pay a lot more for these elsewhere - it's a good deal, whether it's your taste is irrelevant, i have no need for nappies but that doesn't stop some of the offers posted here being a good deal.
good find ...ps totally agree on the paper knickers!
#12
You would have to be a mug to buy these...
#13
wow 75p is expensive for a basic mug.
I've got a Cath Kidson from my local wyvale for £3.99 and it is enourmous holds about 1 1/2 standard mugs worth.
Great present for a Kidson fan.
#14
Each to their own I have several of these, they are massive mugs. I would say they hold double to normal mugs. Bought them after seeing them for sale while on holiday.

These are £4 on the cat kidston website and there is a 10% discount voucher making them £3.60
#16
I have these and have done for quite a few years and they are great value as lovely quality. They are a nice size, almost a 1/2 pint I guess and I love a big cuppa to get me going. To those arguing about buying patterned mugs, get a grip lol!

Hahahahahaha.....laughing my bum off at that paper knickers comment.

Think everyone is being a bit harsh....for Cath Kidston fans this is a good deal. If you are not a Cath Kidston fan than this clearly is not a deal that applies to you and adding cold is rude. I don't go into deals for X-Box games and vote them cold just because I do not like X-Box.

Heat from me for soldiering on!

In your knicker example, you would feel the difference... so i would agree, not that i wear many pairs of knickers, lol. But do these cups make the tea, coffee etc. taste any better?

A cup is a cup and they all do the same thing! Nuff said

Paper knickers?
Does anyone still wear knickers?

not sure why i am bothering to reply - but heyho - i have lots of pals - and if they bought me 4 x 75p mugs that i liked it would be fab - maybe i am lucky - but when its my birthday my mates tend to go more for a treat than a £3 present - if my kids / neices / nephews / Godchildren / pals kids etc choose 4x 75p or 4x 1p presents i would be delighted because they had chosen them - prehaps i am just lucky and my mates spend more than £3 for my birthday ;)

£3.50 in the antique cellar where I live (brackley, northants) :p

Do you know this person? Probably not....so probably not in a position to speculate on how many pals she has. Leave her alone. She was trying to be helpful by putting on a post that she thought SOME people might like, and all you guys have done is shother down. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

For a start this site is about opinions I gave my opinion, secondly as long as i keep my opinions clean and non abusive then that is allowed.

and thirdly, maybe you need to stop polishing her shoes, they look shiny enough now... good job :)

Opinions are fair enough when they are about the deal itself, not when they start getting personal. What you said was nothing to do with the deal, you were making a personal remark which could be taken as offensive. But you didn't consider that as you were too busy trying to be a smart alec.

I'm not polishing anyone's shoes, I don't even know the lass, just think it is a shame that some people feel the need to slate other users into the ground just because the deal "isn't their thing"...and that happens a lot round here. If it's not your thing then fine, move on, look at a different deal. But don't spoil it for everyone else with flippant remarks that are likely to stop good hunters from bothering to post in the future.

Im pretty sure that if she felt offended she would say, and i would apologise for any offence caused. When you become a mod i will listen, until that time maybe you need to stop being so tetchy and butting in where it doesn't concern you. Plain enough english for you?

Maybe if you had tried that in the first place we wouldn't be having this conversation. But will take your comments on board. If you get a kick out of making snide remarks at other peoples expense then crack on, but don't get all uppity when someone calls you on it.
